"Step forward Toronto, Canada native Adam Marshall. With nearly two decades experience as a DJ, not to mention his acclaimed work as a producer and label owner for New Kanada, Adam has amassed considerable respect from the electronic music community for his finely tuned blend of lysergic house grooves and smart, sharp techno. Now residing in Berlin, home to many of his Canadian peers, with recently acclaimed remixes for Seth Troxler, Radioslave's Rekids label and with forthcoming releases on esteemed imprints including Cynosure, KUJI and of course his own New Kanada, and the reinvention of his live set to a more gear based setup, the move to Europe looks set to be a bright one. 'The Owls Won't See Us:' Old school drum sounds are tweaked and twisted in a distinctly new school style with unexpected edits adding urgency and detail. A rhythmic bass-line descends into acid territory underpinning the whole groove perfectly. Layers of melody pulse away unrelentingly, leaving traces cascading around the stereo pallet. We think it sounds like nothing else out there."
