Inspired by his childhood memories of life in Bredenbeck, Germany and the nearby Deister Forest where he whiled away his days, the album is a beautiful collection of folk tinged melodies influenced by his love of Krautrock, cinematic soundscapes, and seminal blues. As usual, Dave plays all instruments on the album (11 in all) and for the first time he even treats us to some vocals.
