This is the debut full-length release by the highly-lauded Greek DJ/producer/Material Series label-head, Mihalis Safras. Cry For The Last Dance is comprised of 11 previously-unreleased tracks, plus a 2009 edit of the absolutely jubilant "Here Comes The Rain." Safras has been around the international techno landscape for almost 10 years, but has recently been blowing up. His powerful electronic sound is reflected in his remixes for BPitch, Great Stuff etc., blended with a relaxed, chilled-out sense of melody and rhythm that is minimal, meticulous, and unfailingly warm, with a heart as big as Mykonos and the speed of Pegasus. Mihalis Safras is a true artist who travels once a year with his band, shutting down all techno channels to play instruments instead -- and this only adds to the musicianship behind all his productions.
