Swiss producer Michel Cleis cemented his status in the house canon with a string of releases for Cadenza, including La Mezcla. He's also remixed artists like Tracey Thorn and Skunk Anansie, but this first release on DJ Koze's Pampa label finds him at his peak. "Mir a Nero" is Latin house with buzzing synths and a simple kick underlying a simple piano arpeggio. "Amaranthus" is a dubby, technofied counterpart to the A-side, crafted for deeper moments on the dancefloor.
