Throughout the '90s, DJ Bone was one of Detroit's best kept secrets. In 1996, Laurent Garnier witnessed him DJing and invited him to play Paris's Rex Club. A 12" for Juan Atkins's Metroplex soon followed, with a Peel Session, and worldwide distribution of Subject:Detroit Volume 2 (2000). Anotherday present a reissue of that legendary Metroplex 12", Riding The Thin Line, originally released in 1999. From the sweeping strings and tribal loops of "Shut The Lites Off", to the hissing bassy electro of "The Funk" and woozy techno of "The Haunting", this is DJ Bone at the peak of his powers.
