Jeff Mills continues the Every Dog Has Its Day series under his Millsart moniker with his second edition of 2020. Following Vol. 5 (AX 085LP), Vol. 6 is a double LP set with nine tracks. Prior to Vol. 5, the last installment came out in the early 2000s, just enough time for a periodical cicada to emerge from the ground, finished with its former life as a nymph. The series itself has acted as a barometer of the times, and Mills feels, after a long layoff, it's time to rehash his Millsart persona and gauge the here and now, and where it fits in. Red cover.
