For In My Way it Lies brought the then 21-year-old Jesper Munk from the bottom to the top overnight in its release year 2013 -- for Munk, it is the album by which he will forever be measured; to which one owes everything and on which one had to work oneself off. He once called it "in the ups and downs of life, the one thing that always accompanied him and was always on his side." This naïve blues album, which seems so young in some ways and so old in others, was the artist's last release on an indie label before Jesper Munk signed to the major industry in 2015.
