The producers behind the Hamburg-based duo Piemont are Frederic Möring-Sack and Christian de Jonqueires. They have been releasing and playing under the name of Phunklarique & Dejonka since 2005. Their second release under their newly-formed artist name Piemont on MBF delivers two crazy minimal house stompers with jacking funky grooves that can rock. "Carbonat" is a classic tune, with electro house flair and nervous sequences, hands up in the air madness. "Glycerin" reminds us of Steve Bug's "Loverboy," but is more stripped-down and adds electro house sequences and mighty breaks. A duo to look out for.
