Besson returns to the dark tones of his first feature films, centered on a character on the fringes of society. He once again enlists the services of his favorite composer, Eric Serra (Le Grand Bleu, Nikita, Le Cinquième Element, etc.), who is responsible for the music of almost all his films. Serra's worked with a philharmonic orchestra, the Budapest Scoring Orchestra, for this soundtrack.
