Mutant Frequencies is the first transmission from Music That Moves, Shinedoe's new label focusing on her own productions. The label is set to make its mark as her other label Intacto has done since 2004. "Mutant Frequencies" sets the agenda with a deep driving bassline intertwined with sparking synths lines and crisp, urgent percussion. "M-Plant" is an acid-tinged, bouncy groover; the bassline writhes and wriggles throughout the track while pulsating kick and fizzing percussion propel the track ever higher. "Triplex" closes things in atmospheric fashion, building out of a hypnotic hook and dark, brooding pads.
