Steele's understanding of crafting a groove is truly intuitive. 'Sugar' begins the record with a sonic wind blowing around us, picking up force as the needle travels towards the center. Casio breakbeats keep a steady rhythm and gain complexity along with the other background sounds that start to echo in. From within the expansive sounds we can hear other elements creep in like the ringing of a mechanical bird or the melodic blast of a wandering saxophone. The track ventures along with low down bass while building towards it's almost pop-edged finale which proves quite exhilarating."
