012 005EP
|
Second EP of the Systema Naturae series on 012 with four fresh new deep techno cuts from newcomer producers. Systema Naturae is the first compilation of 012. It is inspired by and takes the name of one of the major works of the Swedish botanist, zoologist and physician Carl Linnaeus, dating back to 1735, which broadly describes the hierarchical classification of the natural world. The series consists of three parts, each containing four tracks, where several artists are invited to recreate, with sounds, a deep reconnection with nature. Features Saphileaum, Zemög, Birds ov Paradise, and Luca Sanna. Original artworks by Ciredz.

Claudio Prc's platform for art and sound research, est. 2020 and based in Berlin... In life everything is cyclic. It's said, the wave is the most essential form of creation existing in nature. People, moments, come and go -- it's the law of life. But, in reality, the cycles of our life are all linked together, while one is closing another is opening. 012 (twelve) is a new cycle, a new space dedicated to sounds and art. The label's first EP, titled Mare Tranquillitatis, is by Saffronkeira & Claudio PRC.

Claudio PRC is back on his own 012 label and once again it is a fresh collaborative EP. This time he links up with Blazej Malinowski for three searing techno work-outs. "Future Retro I" rides on a way of fixing synths and rolling drums that are designed to very much to get you into a zoned-out state of mind. "Future Retro II" is deeper, headier, more smooth and otherworldly with its swirling pads and dubby drums. Last of all, "Future Retro III" shows another side with lush ambient design, only the most suggestive of pulsing rhythms and a cosmic atmosphere that casts your mind free to dream.
