This is UK-based Crazy P's first release on 2020 Vision. Stop Space Return combines classic songwriting techniques with a cutting-edge, authentic nu-disco sound. Crazy P have unintentionally found themselves as part of the recent renaissance that has crossed the Atlantic from New York City and now sits alongside Hercules & Love Affair and Escort as a band that can cut it live. Stop Space Return captures Crazy P at their peak and magically blends their influences of classic NYC house, disco, '80s pop influences (The Blockheads, The Police, Talking Heads) and the sultry vocals of Donna Summer or Patrice Rushen. Lead singer Danielle Moore is now a fully paid-up member of the band, alongside original duo James Baron (keys) and Chris Todd (guitar) with Tim Davies (bass) and Matt Klose (drums), adding her vocals to every track. The hyperkinetic, uplifting mood of the music is nicely tempered by the sweetness of her vocals. Crazy P's pedigree as recording artists is clearly documented by three superb previous albums -- their first two classics A Nice Hot Bath With and The Wicked Is Music on Paper Recordings and Night On Earth on Shiva, which sold over 20,000 copies. The latter proved to be a massive step up for the band, making them bona fide stars in Australia, New Zealand and the UK as well as cementing their reputation as highly-respected songwriters. BBC Radio One's Pete Tong became a huge fan and rotated the singles constantly, also inviting the band to record a live session in the Maida Vale Studios. Singles Sun Science and Lady T went on to become Ibizan sunset and festival classics and found their way into countless compilations. Only a small handful of dance acts such as Groove Armada, Roisin Murphy and Hot Chip can put on a proper live performance, and Crazy P are part of this unique group. They're a band that gets the party started with headline performances at The Big Chill, Good Vibrations in Sydney, Dance Village at Glastonbury, The Garden Festival in Croatia, plus also having supported Faithless on their 2005 stadium tour across the globe. Check the tracks "Lie Lost" with mixes by Maurice Fulton and Hot Toddy, and "Love On The Line" with mixes by Art Of Tones/Llorca and Pete Herbert, which also comes kitted out with a fantastic video. Take notice.

"Follows the very well received release of the original version on Justin Long's Dotbleep label. Follows Mike's remix of DJ T's 'Philly' from the 5 Years Of Get Physical compilation. Mike Shannon is part of techno music's elite with tracks on Wagon Repair, Minus, Force Inc and Scape. Now living in Berlin, Mike's Cyanosure label is going from strength to strength. Early (very) positive DJ reactions from Ewan Pearson, Laurent Garnier, Mike Monday, Simon Baker, D'Julz, Nic Fanciulli, Silicone Soul & Paul Woolford. These remixes are possibly some of Mike Shannon's best work, check the killer hook and the amazing bassline!"

"This is the second EP in a brand new series from 2020Vision which aims to showcase our international talent base and foster fresh artists from across the globe. 'Tonka' is a massive new house outing from Nick Chacona, bringing the disco sensibilities from previous releases on Bearfunk, Hector Works and of course the superb 'Through The Door' on 2020 (2006) into a deep, hypnotic house setting. 'Space Hooker' sees Phonogenic step up to represent Finland with an awesome deep tech-house outing. Hypnotic is the word for this one, as he drags you into a web of supremely produced deep house that will go down a storm at DC10."

"Burnski is an up and coming talent, who is moving fast through the ranks with labels and clubs picking him up for production and DJ work. Burnski's sound has gone down really well in Germany and since the release of his 'Coldcut' EP on Trapez, he has created quite a fan base over there which had lead to him being offered regular DJ dates at Berlin's famous Watergate club. Infant are currently riding high with the success of Simon Baker's huge Plastik release."

"Ralph Lawson's 2020 Vision takes forward-thinking house music to the next level. Here The Electric Press are back with their third release. Keen to make sure they were not type cast as 'electro house' dons they have been experimenting with different sounds, styles and vocalists for the project."

"Prins Thomas and production partner Lindstrøm, are one of the most in-demand remix duos around. This release follows on from the very well received remixes of 'Tape' from Burnski and The Dirt Crew. Prins Thomas presents his idiosyncratic take on electronic house music with 3 remixes of 2020 label boss Ralph Lawson's band 2020 Soundsystem's awesome 'Tape.' The Viking Disko King gives the original a leftfield, Norwegian twist, making this an EP that will be talked about for years to come. Prins Thomas is renowned for working with production partner Lindstrøm on remixes for Franz Ferdinand and LCD Soundsystem, amongst others, and runs his own label, Full Pupp."
