DJ W!LD delivers a killer EP that's bursting with raw layers of funk and pure jacking beats. The title track evolves from a raw bass beat through chugging, percussive grooves and a clipped funk guitar riff. Enter the provocative rhetoric of Kris B, with old school house organ, and the ghetto, freaky vibe is complete. Jamie Jones brings his hot future funk to the remix. "Born To Be Black" is a true club weapon, with an all-encompassing bass, kick drum and fiery female vocals.

Adult Only presents their last series of remixes originally from the Catwash album. The first side features an energetic remix of "Groovabilisme" by Kabale und Liebe, who displays his hypnotic groove on this bounce-y track. Boris Werner and William Kouam Djoko present a sunny and tribal remix of "Lost In Bucarest," which Phil Weeks also tackles for a jacking remix that applies constant pressure for a slightly euphoric feeling.

"What a way to start off 2009, a very strong EP delivered from Catwash aka Chris Carrier & DJ W!ld with remix from Lemos & Kreon. 'Groovabilisme (Original)' hits with its crafty tech-house stomp, killer kick, and fun tribal groove. A very interesting concept on this production, as the deep grounding rhythm is super floor-filling, yet the space between gives it the perfect air for the huge sub that just rolls this cut to the top of the charts. A sure shot for all players. Kreon's mix stylizes with more jack then jack himself. His vox arrangements give his cut a pop, lock, and rock it knack for the true school dancer. This remix takes any spot in a set, it's got the capability to kick it big or be slow & deep, depending on how a player wishes to pitch it -- a brilliant & effective production. Lemos rocks the bells for a main lead rhythm, an excellent perspective to make for a clever & diverse EP. His mix creates a driving hypnotic bender with enough thump & smack to keep the bells intact and still lead the floor into a seductive soundscape of a moving utopia."
