Coming off 2018's acclaimed electronic soul release Fleet Magic on Andrew Morgan's PPU Records, Baskets of Gold highlights producer fleet.dreams' percussive exchange into the world of dance. The nuanced artist now calls Detroit home, and the latest work evokes the spirit of the region's deep musical history. It's a little later in the night, still soulful, but the palette has shifted. After locating the errant poet àj magic wandering the high deserts of the southern US, the longtime collaborator arrived to narrate the journey. The result is a mini-album that sparkles. "Weird as fuck but highly entertaining." --Bill Brewster

John Daly presents a six track edition of his ten track digital album We Will Live Again. "This music was made over a year and a half period, while I was losing my father to cancer. Dan Walsh from Fixity and others in Cork played the drums. The vocals are by an Italian singer based in Galway, Barbara Vulso. This is the third album under my own name, having worked with aliases since 2012. It was always going to be so, and again I now realize that given the personal nature of the project it could only be that way."

All City Dublin close out 2017 with a four-track EP from producer Colm K. Inspired by a variety of styles and musical sources with one common thread throughout: samples. Two tracks for the dancefloor and two dusty reprises, most of the music found here is a collage of sounds that zig-zags from the soulful thump of "Seeing" to the laid back strain of "Summary".

Another slice of hardcore funky eccentricity from the mind and machines of Lars Stowe, aka Anno Stamm, this one is a sequel of sorts to his FragmentsA release (ACOS1X12, 2013). Another well-crafted, three-track 12" building off his recent To Gravit And Symmet We Rhyth LP (ACASLP X1, 2016) running the gamut of the house-techno spectrum. Kicking it off with the slow build of the soundscape groover "La Viande", leading into the flipside mainroom thump of "Do Yoused To Go" and closing the 12" with the shimmering synth workout of "Pyramid Peach".

Includes download code. The Smoke Clears is the abstract ambient project of producer John Daly (One Track Records/ Secretsundaze). He debuted this alias with Listen (FUR 080CD/LP) in 2013 on Further Records. Following up Listen, The Smoke Clears builds upon it's predecessor's ambient abstractions while adding another layer of nuanced melodic contemplation. The album kicks off with "Fathoms", a deceptively calm track but with a paced sense of urgency which is evident throughout the LP, belying its calm undertones. Continuing at this pace for the rest of the first side the LP takes a side turn with the lush "Slipstream" melting into the only vocal track of the album - the dubbed out bliss of "Oh My Days" featuring Cian Finn. Showcasing a side that might not be familiar to those who come to the table with knowledge of the Galway producers house and techno releases on his own imprint One Track Records as well as Running Back and more, this is lush downtempo machine music equally as at home cranked up one louder sound system style, or for late night home listening.

Anno Stamm presents To Gravit And Symmet We Rhyth for All City. A structured double pack from Anno Stamm designed as both a collection of singular parts which work on the dancefloor and a coherent full length home stereo listening. Throbbing acid and techno, all with a melodic sense, it is a crafted LP running with a brisk energetic speed throughout while rounding down on the final side with the deceptively lush vibes of "Sensing Social Sirens". Elsewhere there's the bruising breakbeat rave of "No One Else" and the reverbing crash cymbal sound of "Charge it Up to My Account", subtle nods to the past with the vocoder vibes of "Fine". This is a record very much built in Berlin and of its techno traditions.

Originally released in 2010. Philadelphia beatmaker Knxwledge has been bubbling beneath the surface in the virtual world, making his name via Myspace, with global mixes spinning around the world. With a Mary Anne Hobbs mix and plays from Benji B already under his belt, he steps up to the plate with his first solo release. In the years after the original release of his debut, Knxwledge has gone on to produce for Joey Bada$$ and Kendrick Lamar. Fifteen tracks of varying rhythmic structures, lengths, and speeds, which go way further than mere beats and snippets. Sloppy, on beat and off -- it's all thrown in the beat blender.

With his second release on All City Dublin -- this time as The Cyclist -- the Derry producer who also records as Buz Ludzha returns with a seven-track LP of pure pedal power, building on 2013's Bones in Motion foundations. A more accomplished sound than his previous LP, it will certainly reward repeated listening. From the tribal sounds of "Ripples Through Ice" to the proto-hardcore sound of "Tape Grunge Rave" through his signature tape-throb sound of "Daisy Spirals" before rounding it out with the uplifting vibes of "Flourish," it's lo-fi but not cheap, DIY but not primitive, dance-y but not club-y, 4-4 but not straight.

All City presents Amada; 13 exclusive tracks (plus one bonus in the form of a 7" flexi-disc) from a selection of interesting underground producers from around the globe. Over the last few years, Mamiko Motto has built a reputation searching and unearthing some of tomorrow's best new production talent via her Hepcat show on NTS Radio and through work with Dutch label Kindred Spirits. Recording as part of Wednesday Nite, she has been mobile enough with a large Rolodex of contacts to hassle and compile the tracks for Amada. The record takes flight with the dreamy "Take It Back" by New York's hotly-tipped Obey City. The artist formerly known as Kasrave, now Young Mind, follows with "Jennifer," and we hit the dancefloor with Bobby's "Tame the Shrew." Free-form soulstress Georgia Anne Muldrew gives us a gospel diversion with "Git Thee," and James Pants comes with his unique brand of psychedelic-electro-wave on "Ritual Magick." Modern hip-hop beats from Silkersoft and Darq E Freaker deliver testosterone thrust while Fatima Yamaha's pogo-pumping "AAA" ignites a rhythmic groove. The young SCNTST comes with the hypnotic and pounding "For Forest Play Only," before Mweslee's second outing on the label with "Una 41 (In Memoriam)." DZ and Ruckazoid drop a lo-fi heartbreaker with "Shoulda Coulda." Austrian Korg wizard Dorian Concept joins to bid a melancholic farewell on "Empty Everything (But You)" and American Men's Claude Speeed closes out the LP with "Crushed Rave." A variety of beats, tempos and styles is completed with a bonus track on the 7" flexi-disc from the mysterious GMCFOSHO.

All City Dublin presents a three-track 12" from Anno Stamm, an alias of Berlin producer Lars Stöwe. Original with a capital "O," Anno Stamm allows him to fiddle about in the undergrowth even further: raw and twisted, dark with a dash of color, and heavy on the drums. Those of a certain vintage should be able to spot the sample on lead track "I Still Have the Photographs." Includes the usual full-color shrink-wrapped artwork with a download code.
