The Magnecian guides our path on Medea through thunderously dark places filled with grainy drum thrills, shadowy riddims, wide synth washes and cyclic chants. An epic soundtrack. "Nostalgia" is a perfectly stripped-down dub that builds and expands along an eerie melody, the drive of the drum and the bass leading the way. "Your Suffering Is Mine" is a tool crafted to keep things just the way they should, with 909 high-hats and percussion bursts. Finally "Deleterious" is a state-of-the-art broken B2 acid drop, with a roaring and rumbling bass line skillfully displayed with synths and ethereal voices, lending a Bristolian feel to this cutting-edged closure.

With Parts Unknown, Hreno unveils his deepest beat-making mind-set, delivering a never-ending "Highway 17," which aims to take us from nowhere-land to the everywhere metropolis, through an acid-spiced locked groove; perfectly crafted to unchain us from our daily mortal duties. From "Ottawa Valley" he dubs the night away with a faster pace than the usual B1 tool. Finally, he draws the "Little Squirl" to warm up those magic in-between hours, showing us how intimate and personal a pure Autochtone soul can be.

In Greek mythology an Autochthon was a child born directly from the Earth without the intervention of any parents. Today the term is used in the fields of ethnology and biology to define "local," "indigenous," or "original form." Autochthon offers us an excursion into untouched dream areas where music and dance recall sudden flashes of primal recollection. Unchained, he teaches us to explore forms, rhythms and balance, developing a playground of audio promenades around the tones of repeated electronic dance gatherings.
