Berlin party series and label AWAY Music continues its limited vinyl series called Reissued, dedicated to re-releasing iconic cuts from the vast collaborative catalog of Move D & Pete Namlook. The third installment Reissued 3, which follows the series' first two EPs from previous years, features again some exceptional pieces that were previously only available on CD. Move D and Pete Namlook are electronic visionaries whose 26-album relationship explored and intertwined psychedelic synthscapes, deep house and techno, future jazz, and downtempo on Namlook's cult imprint Fax Records. Their innovative and influential works keep inspiring electronic music producers today, showcasing their willingness to collaborate and push the boundaries of electronic music. First up on the A side, "Der Strahlender Verlierer", from the 2006 Album Let the Circle Not Be Broken, begins atmospherically before pushing subtly into open filter and undulating synth territory. Introspective and accepting, the piece gradually lets the sum of its parts coalesce into a peaceful whole with sustained chords and the flicker of played steel strings. "Hardwired Tangent" from the 2001 Album Wired rounds out the first side with edgier and more ominous tones. Brooding and bubbling its way through artificial textures absorbed by carefully weighted rhythmic tension. Shuffling jazz electronics. The moody low-mid hum providing buoyancy throughout. Also from the 2001 album, the B side's "Hardwired Hypotenuse + Asymptote" is a synthetic journey. Textural, pseudo-organic, pulsating with urgency. The motoric percussion imparting structure to the sonic alchemy. Tactile yet integrated components offer the listener (or dancer) multiple entry points into the music. This is both artful and kaleidoscopic -- a treatise on contemplative and psychoactive house music. Reissued 3 is a true testament to the innovative spirit and pioneering work of Move D and Pete Namlook. With these tracks now available on vinyl for the first time, AWAY's limited series is a must-have for old and new fans alike.

Berlin Party AWAY will celebrate a decade of events with label compilation AWAY 10 Years and three weekend parties. AWAY 10 Years features ten tracks from a family-and-friends line-up of influential powerhouses like Moodymann, Move D, Axel Boman, Lady Starlight, Mark Broom, Inland, and well-known talents Discrete Circuit, Eluize, AWAY Soundsystem, and Attila & Blivv. Founded by DJ and producer Discrete Circuit in 2012, AWAY was born in Berlin out of a purist desire to establish a party for timeless house and techno music. In the early days, AWAY moved from multiple in- and outdoor venues to showcases across Europe to ultimately finding a stable home base at the About Blank club in 2015. Quickly they earned a reputation as a must-attend event series without losing its underground credibility. The AWAY crew did not shy away from booking many veterans and legends of the genre, some of whom are now on the compilation AWAY 10 Years.

Berlin party series and label AWAY Music continues its limited vinyl series called Reissued, dedicated to re-releasing iconic cuts from the vast collaborative catalog of Move D & Pete Namlook. The second installment, Reissued 2, which follows the series' inaugural EP from 2019 (AWAYLMTD 001EP), features again some exceptional pieces that were previously only available on CD. "Silk Route Part 1", which comes from their 2008 album Travelling The Silk Route, occupies the A-side with a 12-minute journey full of jazz-infused ambient soundscapes meeting oriental melodies with sophisticated percussion patterns. A truly immersive listening experience. On the flip, "Sleeplearnin'" was described as psycho-active electronica when it first came out on the Sons of Kraut album 17 years ago. Translated, it's the minimal house that carries their warm trademark sound, enriched by pulsating echoes, space noises, and relapsing vocoder shreds. It conveys the pair's unique energy that embraces the improvisational moment to create a hypnotic flow that's nothing but timeless. Reissued 2 is a true testament to the innovative spirit and pioneering work of Move D and Pete Namlook. With these tracks now available on vinyl for the first time, AWAY's limited series is a must-have for old and new fans alike.

Away Music starts a new vinyl series entitled Reissued focusing on Move D & Pete Namlook tracks that were previously only available on CD. Opener "Footer" is a darkly absorbing piece with menacing bass rhythms and frosted textures, an interplanetary trip that finds modern kinship with the likes of techno experimentalist Donato Dozzy. The majestic "Der Bergkönig" is less linear and more suspensory, with beautiful synth motifs looping over icy pads building to a celestial crescendo complete with sweeping strings. Closer "Stranger" is an adventurous 16-minute epic that rides on slick deep house drums and phased bass.

Stathis Kalatzis, aka Mr. Statik, is a resident at Athens's multi-purpose cultural space Six D.O.G.S. He's not only been one of the scene's pivotal figures, but since he started to release his first solo releases in the mid-00s, the now Berlin-based Greek DJ has earned a reputation for being a trend-ignoring, unconventional producer. Mr. Statik enjoys thinking outside the box by crossing his diverse pop-cultural interests and pulling in expertise and perspective from beyond the usual functional formulas. After a decade of not staying in one comfort zone or sticking to one musical direction, he finds himself more comfortable in his producer shoes presenting his debut album Metamorphose. Housing a few film references in this for Mr. Statik typical nebulous fashion, the ten tracks not only carrying the narrative potential of an imaginary score, but primarily exploring a versatile array of influences, themes, and contradictions (which Mr. Statik as an illustrator also united on the album's artwork). Ranging from the sci-fi infused album opener "Insomnia", the first non-dancefloor piece he ever produced around 2011, over "Κatastrophe", an homage to ancient Greek theater, to collaborate with others such as Beatrice Ballabile, Jan Niklas Jansen (Locas In Love), and Claude Speeed, who contributed synth work on "Soulfur". Metamorphose succeeds in constantly changing its tones, while maintaining an emotional frame, in which Mr. Statik's melancholic, introvert, at times hopeful and euphoric, bottom end inclined electronic music can elaborate. Mr. Statik on his debut album: "I have always tried to approach producing as storytelling exercises. This allowed me to experiment finding myself in uncharted territories, more specifically in music that doesn't necessarily fit to a dance floor -- unless it's a very adventurous one. Metamorphose is loyal to that mindset. I usually draw inspiration from cinema and comic books and have always been fascinated with sci-fi, south Asian culture, surrealism, and the dreamworld. Initially the album was supposed to be a collage of the various influences that had shaped my life, but ended up being something very different. During the conceptualization and recording process a lot of things around us have changed, primarily for the worse. I became more and more sensitive and susceptible to pessimism and trendy visions of 'dystopian futurism', so that the LP emerged being an exercise in positivity." Also features Dave Aju and Nastya.

The Greek all-rounder Mr. Statik debuts as a producer on Away. Starting off with an ingenious medley assembled through samples, rhythmic elements, and a funk-infused bass-line, Rogue Cherub EP highlights the Greek's unordinary approach to house music. Despite the partly broken, partly playful vibe, it's Dave Aju's distinctive voice holding everything together in a serene fashion. No less than the acknowledged master Matthew Herbert himself scales the hybrid down, attaching just the right disco-house touches to create yet another dancefloor gem. "Morning Star" tops off Away's fifth catalog number by a well-crafted techno-meets-dub workout.

Move D, Jonah Sharp, and Juju & Jordash build the new super-group The Mulholland Free Clinic. Their self-titled debut LP release is a recording of their second ever improvised, all hardware live set which emphasizes the ongoing paradigm shift in live electronic music. Even though they've only played together on three occasions since 2013, The Mulholland Free Clinic has already been praised as one of the ultimate collaborations when it comes to underground and improvised electronic live music. Move D, Jonah Sharp, and Juju & Jordash build this so-called super-group by combining their individual and mutual projects, rEAGENZ and Magic Mountain High. Using an armada of analog hardware, The Mulholland Free Clinic's self-titled debut album is the product of a live set recorded at Berlin's party series AWAY at ://about blank in August 2016. Consequently, the connected vinyl label Away Music is set to release its first long player following four 12-inches with appearances by Joe Claussell, Mr. Ties, Move D, Discrete Circuit, and its very own AWAY Soundsystem. Their three-hour long, totally improvised jam session was edited down to a little over 80 minutes, with seven tracks internalizing the motto that you won't benefit from diverse perspectives if you aren't open to utilizing differences. Like a well-coordinated ensemble, The Mulholland Free Clinic develops a common language by acknowledging their multi-variant range of influences and dynamics while constantly shifting, rearranging, and communicating ideas, without being held to any genre. Whether it's the rich and beat-less ambiance or the synth-dominated excursions, the cosmic futurism or the overall melodic playfulness, the quartet knows its crafts, mastering the off-the-cuff approach to illuminate all corners, on and off the dancefloor. Using an impressive hardware-only setup (including Korg Minilogue, Roland SH-101, Roland TR 909, Roland TR 606, Yamaha DX-7, electric guitars, FX units, Akai MPC 1000, an analog mixer, and much more), the live performance isn't just another declaration of love for classic synthesizers. By creating an environment that promotes communication, learning, and innovation, the quartet also underpins the ongoing paradigm shift in live electronic music. The Mulholland Free Clinic is the artistic synthesis of improvisation and togetherness, risk and trust, consciousness and abandon. Their teamwork is an inside-out mindset. And with all collaborations, it has to start on the inside, with the heart.

Berlin collective Away ready the fourth release in their catalogue. They present a split two-tracker from label mainstay Move D and his pairing with Jonah Sharp under their collaborative guise of rEAGENZ. Harnessing this attitude and channeling the collective's Detroit influences, Away have developed their imprint which has so far taken shape over a set of three analog-heavy various artist releases. Next in line follows suit in melding tough drums with Motor City pads. Natural in their progression, both tracks spark ardor as they steadily develop adding another fine addition to a blooming catalogue.
