London's Casual Nun present Psychometric Testing By...."Akin to blending the sonic freak outs of legendary krautrock pioneers Ash Ra Tempel with '90s Japanese noise mongers Up-Tight or Ohkami No Jikan, London's Casual Nun deliver some downright heavy psych -- a blown out slab of distorted, hypnotic guitar buzz, heady, effect-laden vocals, and plodding drums, everything bleary eyed, garage-y, intense and drugged out! Anyone who has been diggin' the aforementioned greats, GNOD, The Heads or Loop will definitely fall in love with Casual Nun."--Roadburn Festival
"That is what good music is supposed to do though, remove you from your everyday existence and move you in some way. Casual Nun use a hypnotic style of psychedelia which plays off both its pure noise and little moments of experimental bliss. It's unforgiving yet still approachable and that is what makes it all the more dangerous. This is the sound of the true under-ground of London at the moment." --Echoes & Dust

Girl Sweat is the ever-changing garage-noise project fronted by the six-foot-five beast that is Sweat. Originally formed in 2011 as a full band, Girl Sweat emerged as a true solo venture in 2013. A Yamaha four-track cassette deck full of bass, Casio drums, and noise loops accompanies Sweat's trademark lap steel, harsh synths, and overdriven, echoed-out vocals, destroying the line between garage and noise and making for the ideal purveyor of a groove-infused bad trip. 2015 saw Sweat play a variety of festivals including the Liverpool International Festival Of Psychedelia, release two EPs, and tour with The Cosmic Dead. Bad Happenings is his debut album. Includes download code.

180-gram LP. Temporary Infinity is the third full-length album from Newcastle, England-based noise-psych power trio Haikai No Ku. The record continues the nightmarish bad trips that previous albums Sick On My Journey (2013) and Ultra High Dimensionality (BOXREC 006LP, 2014) conjured. The patented wall of gargantuan, mild-altering, damaged feedback from Mike Vest (Bong, 11Paranoias, Blown Out) is again present with the no-nonsense power of drummer Sam Booth (Foot Hair) and bassist Jerome Smith (Female Borstal, Charles Dexter Ward). Haikai No Ku take no prisoners and show no remorse with Temporary Infinity, delivering 40 minutes of warped and disturbed hallucinogenic punishment. Their sound is not for the faint-hearted, but has inspired a cult following among those who enjoy their music twisted. For fans of Bong, Les Rallizes Dénudés, Mainliner, etc. Artwork and design by Pete Burn. Includes download code.

During Luminous Bodies' performance at Supernormal Festival 2014, lobster people shot foam with phallic water pistols at the audience -- an apt introduction to the band. Since then the band have continued to rampage across the land, including a standout performance at Raw Power Festival 2015, with their "scumbag lysergic racket." While it's easy to praise Luminous Bodies for their electrifying spirit, their songwriting-craft should not be overlooked. Beneath their occasionally tongue-in-cheek delivery is a band that has produced a superb debut rock record. It's an album that'll whip you up and leave you in high spirits. Luminous Bodies are Dan Hunt, Gordon Watson, Luca Zoo Franzoni, Tom Fug, and Tracy Bellaries. Recorded and mixed by Wayne Adams, Bear Bites Horse. Mastered by Sam Grant, Blank Studios. Artwork direction by Jussi Brightmore. Sleeve layout by Dirty DC. 180-gram vinyl; includes download code.

Pressed on 180-gram vinyl; includes download code. An absolute must for fans of Brainbombs, Upsidedown Cross, Kilslug, Drunks With Guns, etc. Box Records is proud to present the debut album by Newcastle-based noise-mongers Foot Hair, featuring members of HaiKai No Ku and Obey. Their self-titled debut album reduces sonics from the likes of Brainbombs and Upsidedown Cross into an unforgiving mash of dirge. It's simple, raw, and extremely powerful stuff. Rarely do bands manage to create such a cacophony of hedonistic terror while simultaneously projecting a sense of abject absolute apathy and nihilism. Foul, frightening, and completely cathartic, this is one of the most nailed-on noise rock records out there -- Box Records practically begged the band to let them release it. Not to be missed! T.H. (bass), P.M. (guitar), S.B. (vocals), T.H. (drums), M.A. (guitar). Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Sam Grant, Blank Studios, Newcastle.

Behold the gargantuan sound of HaiKai No Ku. For fans of Bong, Les Rallizes Dénudés, Mainliner, etc. Following the outstanding debut Sick on My Journey on Burning World Records, the three-piece stepped into Blank Studios to record their follow-up, a 40-minute pilgrimage through five mind-altering tracks. By now, avid fans of doom and psychedelia will be familiar with Mike Vest's patented hyper-fuzz guitar shrieks and damaged feedback. In HaiKai No Ku he is joined by Jerome Smith (Female Borstal, Charles Dexter Ward) on bass and Sam Booth (Foot Hair, Bin, Obey) on drums to deliver a burgeoning psychedelic doom trip of the highest grade. Pressed on 180 gram wax with superb artwork and design by Pete Burn, printed on a warm grey recycled card sleeve with metallic ink. Includes a download code.

"Dead Eyes displays a fearsome mastery of their sound, erecting walls of feedback and distortion only to tear them down with bare-fisted riffs and wraith-like howls. Powerful stuff -- highly recommended." ?Boomkat; "It's high bastard art and the lowest form of musical depravity in the land. Whatever audio system you choose to play Khunnt on will sound fucked beyond repair. It is truly horrible, and immensely satisfying." --Beard Rock; "The listener is an observer in this unspeakable war of noise. It's loud, unrelenting and unforgiving with its violent nature. If you're a fan of Khanate and Noothgrush, then you're going to love this." --Sludgelord; "The sounds merge and split and splinter, leaving listeners with no road map on what to expect. Through and through, Dead Eyes is relentless and crushing, drawing out fears through means of improvisational extraction" --Heavy Planet; Formed in 2006, Khünnt have fervently explored the boundaries of esoteric music, from minimalist noise to live improvisation and psychedelic mantra. Focusing exclusively on a more aggravated and blighted composition, Dead Eyes reflects the band's most recent forages into noise and sludge. Comparable to works by Corrupted, Khanate, and Noothgrush, the bleak and at times unbearable landscape of Dead Eyes is a passage of hypnotic despair. LP in hand-screenprinted sleeve with insert.
