BOXED 004EP
Boxed present the fourth edition in their survey of the further reaches of instrumental grime. Fresh from one of the biggest modern production houses in grime, Boylan and Oil Gang fuse classic jump-up sensibility and dead-eyed swagger on the anthemic "Murder One". Rebore offers the wild, chaotic "Campaign" for his first ever vinyl outing. Slackk and Logos provides an exclusive first time link-up on wax, sending weightless synth probes into the distance on the colorful, hazy "Moroccan Squares". Manchester grime mainstay Fallow rounds off the slate with his Boxed debut, the angular square wave funk of "Rearmament".

BOXED 003EP
Boxed return with the third edition of their various artists EP series. Mr. Mitch's graceful and unsettling "Friend Of Mine" flips a soul sample in a screwed-and-chopped fashion. The debut vinyl appearance of AS.IF KID comes with "Mashman Riddim Pt.2" recalling the technicalities of prime Plasticman or Mark One whilst pushing his sound in to new hi-definition territory. OG grime don JT The Goon unleashes "Flux Capacitor" - Fairlight-era flutes orbit a classic JT bassline for pure emotional, end-of-night vibes. Sirpixalot drops his VIP of "All In One", trademark modal keys and skittering drums combining with triton bass.

BOXED 002EP
Boxed present Boxed002, the second installment in their label series. Four tracks from the club's extended family tree, representing the full spectrum of their sound. Label co-founder Logos leads the EP with his hardcore-influenced twist on one of the classic grime templates. Gobstopper's Iglew brings the emotional content with his bittersweet meditation "Lullaby". Spooky and Boylan make the East/South connection with "Peckham to Hackney". Completing the platter up and coming producer Jawside's contribution "Blurred Rain" updates the sino-grime sound, merging wave after wave of abstract eastern percussion in to a hyper-effective angular dancefloor bomb.

BOXED 001EP
Some of electronic music's most crucial producers -- Mumdance, Finn, Murlo, JT the Goon, Yamaneko -- have found a second home of sorts in Boxed. The first 12" on the Boxed label opens with Slackk and Dullah Beatz's contemplative "Forest Walk," which is the polar opposite of Lloyd SB's stripped-back banger "X Out." Trends's monstrous remix of Geeneus's "Old Skool 2" seems to share little in common with Spokes's "Tragedy in the Jasmine Garden." But all have been road-tested at Boxed and become crowd favorites; at both the club night and on this release, they make perfect sense together.
