"Played and supported by Brendon Moeller, SoulPhiction, Til Von Sein, Speedy J, Mathias Kaden, RNDM, Crowdpleaser, Joachim Spieth, Lump, Pawas, Franklin De Costa, Sweet 'N Candy, St Plomb, Little Fritter. Brut! is proud to present a new release by in-house protegés Taron-Trekka. Since their last release on brut! the guys have created a bit of a stir with their celebrated Sark remix for Freund der Familie, and their last release on our brand new sub-label blues! was described by some friendly media as 'the best Detroit school of the second generation in its third appearance' and 'the finest killer funk'. We blush. This time, Taron-Trekka presents 3 tracks with their very own particular raw sound. 'Radio Fligg' comes as a misty soundscape involving a funky, stabby tech house track. 'Kopsallee' is a low slung booty funk house track with a disco flavour, kinda back in the day with an unexpected twist. And 'Sip 'N Dis' is the cherry on the cake, so deep but so funky. So housey. You know you want it."

"Following our quest for inventive approaches within the sometimes tired and highly commodified house/tech/house/techno/minimal or whatever you call it scene, we've gone this time for Landesvatter. Regardless of having already signed a few full-length LPs on the highly-esteemed Normoton as well as on Under_Line and others, Joachim Landesvatter prefers to keep a low-key attitude. He offers us two great tracks, each one followed by a very special remix. The original of 'Nome' is a highly bouncy digi-tech house track for the dancefloor, with an infectious sinewave to keep you hooked from beginning to end. The remix of 'Nome,' in charge of Arp Aubert (Marco Niemerski aka Tensnake & Stephan Lorenz) who runs the great Mirau Musik, comes on the form of a hysterical dub-house track that literally puts 'the roof in the air.' We recommended for full effect to keep the volume on the red. As usual, the second half of the release follows at a quieter pace. 'Hausse' is a track on a Out to Lunch tradition, greatly influenced by Detroit but at the same time, distancing itself from the current plethora of nostalgics. In-house duo Taron-Trekka closes the package with a deep remix, rich on freaky jazz touches. We lack words to describe it."

"We are pleased to welcome Dubnoodles whose previous releases on Milnor Modern and Rundlauf Musik certainly grabbed our attention. On this occasion, Dubnoodles shows two different sides of his music: the A-side is funky as hell. Both tracks show highly elaborated grooves with a very pleasant, shuffly jazz feel. A must for adepts of Frank Martiniq, Akufen, Treplec, and for those who enjoy playful, forward-thinking grooves. The B-side really gives us the shivers. It unravels extremely emotional melodies, powerful strings and intense crescendos. Fans of Dial and neo-Detroit will appreciate. All three tracks are a real blessing. As usual, we tried to pack as much amazing music as possible into this release. Enjoy!"

"Here comes Andreas Heiszenberger with what seems like a requiem to a past love. The track is moody, twisted, dubby and full of intense ambiguous emotions, from love to hate and from pop to abstraction. Then comes Nass aka Geiger to give the original the treatment -- and what a treatment! Surely more effective than your post-depression counselor, Nass goes for a dub techno odyssey that will make hardwax enthusiasts drop their Prozac prescription. On the flip side, one of the men of the year, Mr. Efdemin comes with the definitive solution: go deep, then stand up and dance. Efdemin presents us with a work of love, an unmistakable homage to the sound of Berlin. To finalize, Andreas Heiszenberger goes for the traditional medicine to relieve any heartache: deep house with a nod to Lowtec, Theo Parrish and the Dial ensemble. A truly perfect moment..."

"After a string of fantastic releases on the much-missed label Scheinselbstaendig and indie-major Force Tracks, Hamburg's best hidden talent Drei Farben House debuts on Brut! On the A-side, 'On My Side (Daso Remix)' comes in the form of an energetic remix by the excellent Daso. following from his successful release on Connaisseur, Daso adventures himself again on techno terrains turning the light-hearted original into a moody dancefloor track. On the B-side, Drei Farben House does what he knows best: to provide us with a delicate balance of minimal house and pop sensibilities. The original of 'On My Side' comes in a more uplifting way, bringing us the brighter moments of the windy autumn days and 'Nightly Affairs' finishes the whole in a more dramatic manner, full of emotional strings and deep chords."
