Underground prominent figures of the Belgian '80s scene, Alain Neffe and Nadine Bal have released and produced dozens of tapes under different monikers. Bene Gesserit is probably their most famous and iconic one due to its multiple facets. Originally a tape released in 1981 on their own Insane Music label, Best Of encaptures all the DIY and creative freedom of the band. From the yagé vapors of "Erg Habbiana" to synth madness of "Gloria" or "Gppm" this album summarizes the full spectrum of their ethos: Insane music without borders. This reissue additionally includes four unreleased tracks from Alain Neffe vault. Remastered by Krikor Kouchain and limited to 300 copies.

2021 release. MLD (Minimal Lethal Dose) was a Japanese project lead by Takayuki Shiraishi after his first mythical release with BGM on Vanity Records in 1980. Made with the help of Jun Sonohara it was active between 1983 and 1986 in Tokyo. This compilation collects nine unpublished tracks from the original tapes and confirms his unique offbeat style ranging from post-punk, dub, and industrial. It's completed by "Perpetual Motion" and "Dynamo" previously released in 1983. With his quirky approach, this record unveils another piece of Japanese experimental music history. All these tracks have been carefully remastered by Krikor Kouchian.

Reissue, originally released on CD only in 1997. A fascinating Japanese ambient techno excursion. Takayuki Shiraishi is no stranger to Camisole Records. With projects like BGM, MLD, or Tristan Disco, he is considered as one of the most prominent figures of underground Japanese music. Following those '80s industrial projects he continued his path and recorded numerous electronic tracks without forgetting his experimental roots. After an EP on the highly revered label Apollo with his alias Planetoid, he released on a very limited run his first album Photon only on CD in 1997. Mixing techno and ambient, those works were recorded between 1987 and 1996 to create a trancey ride of dreamy tunes. A journey through spectral dances and afterglows, dreamy incantations and Solar rituals devoted to euphoria. Experimental techno who never forget to keep your mind and body aware. Remastered by Krikor Kouchian.

Camisole unveil another part of the French cold wave history with the reissue of the Paroles Absurdes LP by White Pain, originally released in 1986. Hailing from Lyon the band began as a duo with Patrick Saveau and Patrick Gravier in 1984. Active figures in the underground scene of their city, they played some gigs and even had their own show on the local radio station. They developed a small following around them and recruited other members to record this album in 1986. Paroles Absurdes is driven by the feeling that you can't escape your fate. Saying words that you sometimes regret but you feel to be true. This testimony infuses this whole album. However, positive assumptions flow from time to time and left their more pop appeal roll into some songs. This reissue also includes the first two tracks of the group only released on tape in 1985. As a duo, White Pain was a synth and drum machine band inspired by early '80s German pioneers like DAF or Din a Testbild. They used to have a raw, powerful, and dark sound quite unique in France at this time. "Vienna" is probably the best way to resume their first intention.

Tristan Disco was an ephemeral Japanese project led by Takayuki Shiraishi focused on making dubbish post-punk. In 1982, they created a no-wave full of unrehearsed breaks and cavernous vocals. Boundless dark jamming sessions through shades, effects, and reverbs, always submerged by a tense nervous bass line. On the B-side, Krikor delivers a hard-hitting Industrial reconstruction of "Social Dance" perfect to shatter your brain. Retakes from the mysterious ambient artist Civilistjävel! are more brooding. Introspection and faded horizons are the main purposes here but a glimpse of hope still glow.

Andy Ded was an English artist who living in Paris in the mid '80s. The only trace of his work is this EP called Summer Nightmares and Lazy Dogs mixing industrial music with a post-punk attitude. Notwithstanding a danceable appeal, the release did not gain access to an audience more attracted by the emerging French cold wave scene. This reissue is accompanied by a mutant Tolouse Low Trax rework featuring additional lyrics and vocals. With the help of some friends (Laura Lippie and Gwen Jamois aka Iueke) he adds a deviant Laurie Anderson atmosphere to the original track. Remastered; edition of 300.

After the repress of their single Eyes/Morning Rain (CAM 014EP), Camisole Records announce the reissue of Coldreams' tape Crazy Night. Recorded in 1984-1985 by a gang of young students passionate about post-punk, this record represents the culmination of the band first period. Haunted lyrics and melancholia were already the basics of their sound and from "Don't Cry" to "Crazy Night/Burning Passion," it's difficult to imagine that they were only 18 to 19 years old at that time. "Bulbs and Bubbles" and "Turn the Button" show their pop appeal which definitely takes them apart from their contemporaries and all-around gloomy feelings infuse these six tracks which unveils another part of Coldreams history. Remastered from original tapes. Available for the first time on vinyl, fully licensed. Includes insert with band history and unpublished pictures.

Long time sought-after French post-punk/cold wave 7" finally get an official reissue with remastered sound and artwork. We all have lost memories and dreams, shattered hopes we hide to people and try to live with. Like the feeling of missing someone you've cherished in the past but who doesn't need you anymore. This obsessive melancholia infuses the two tracks of this now highly sought-after record, while haunting lyrics and subtle production definitely set them apart from their contemporaries. Coldreams was a French female fronted post-punk band hailing from Clermont-Ferrand. Instead of cold wave, it might best be called melancholic pop. Reissue, limited edition of 500.

First reissue of this arty synth-pop French gem from Nuts & Co, ephemeral self-produced project. Inspired by Dadaism, ancient tribes and natural life they self-produced and released this album in 1982. The result is a blend of experimental synth-pop combined with some German spoken-word and French madness. For sure "Semite" with its shamanic percussions will get your attention but other synth oddities include "La Vie des Animaux", "Auf Dem Lande", and "Kangourou" too. If you're into French arty synth-pop of Dancing, Nuit de Chine, and Der Spiegel, this is for you. Remastered; edition of 300.

First reissue of this long-time sought-after Japanese experimental gem from the '80s. A walk in Paris somewhere between the '30s and the '50s made by a Japanese lost soul. Montparnasse by Yoran is a surreal journey into an era which has maybe existed but long gone. A melancholic fantasy about a time you'll never know and can only smell the atmosphere. Memories and flashes come from an ancient time, cobbled streets where heels crack far away surrounded by the tickle of a street musician, a classical dance class directed by some piano notes or an announcement from an old train station. The cryptic French spoken-word infuses the extracts and sound collages taken from different French movies looped into a broken tape player. The result is one of the most mysterious and looked after Japanese '80s underground record. This reissue is pressed for the first time on 12" at 45RPM. Remastered, limited edition of 500.

French post-punk is full of diversity and never ends to surprise the amateurs. This 7" showcases two different approaches by reissuing hard to find tracks by Jinx and Madame Bovary. Jinx made the elusive track "Rêve Inconscient" in 1987. Guided by an unreachable and mysterious female voice you're able to walk through an enigmatic path. A dream that you probably wouldn't want to wake up. Madame Bovary had a more upfront attitude. Jangly guitars, rowdy lyrics and leading synth lines defined their sound. "I'm a Runner" summarize their vision.
