Italy's Chris Venola began his musical journey in the mid-'90s. Starting with and inspired by the piano, he began his career in 2005 under the pseudonym Silentalk, when he remixed the French band Curl. Over the years, numerous EPs and remixes were released on various international labels, now Chris is working with Circle Music. Here he was given the opportunity to release Sixteen Miles, a successful tech-house debut. The album opens with the relaxed track "I'll Be There," which was created in collaboration with Andrea Introvigne & Kira. Slowly building up and featuring the vocals of Tania Furia, the breakbeat track "Break U" follows -- this lightweight touch of Berlin electro can also be found on the track "Stars." Actually, the whole album is very diverse in sound. Besides relaxing deep house tracks like "Illusion" or "You," there are also some tech-house tracks with a lot of drive like "Mountague Mastermind," right next to melodic house tunes such as "Everytime." All tracks have been arranged with passion, refined with vocals and produced with unique emotional and still clubby sounds and grooves. Contributing studio partners such as Frank Lee, Vinny Samuels and Tania Furia, Andrea Introvigne and Kira gave the album a strong song-character without losing focus on the dancefloor. This is the start of a new chapter for both Venola and Circle Music.

"Michel de Hey is one of the leading Dutch electronic music artists who characterized techno and tech house since the early days. With his labels EC Music, Brave New World Music, CC or Miracle Music, he releases very modern music and sounds by featuring artists like Secret Cinema, Grooveyard, Me And Jack, Massivemen, Bobby Foster, Literon, M.I.R.K.O., Codec & Flexor or Joel Mull. His label Hey! Records features only tracks produced by himself. For the new Circle Music release, he produced two enormously powerful tracks and engaged Moonharbour's or Remote Area's Boris Werner for the remix. A_'Sintrack': 'Sintrack' is the most surprising one on this EP. With the very rhythmic and well balanced basement of beats everything has to be expected. Listening to the track creates the misgiving that it could explode every second. But Michel, who hosts the longest running Dutch dance compilation series since 1991, keeps it calm and becomes melodic at the right point while letting the mechanic bassline work continuously for the arrangement. More physical than emotional, the title track will tidy up every sound system."

"With the first Circle Music compilation, The World Of Circle, the label presented itself as a community of artists, as a family, that proclaimed continuous movement, pure power and brilliant soundscapes in various styles which have these three attributes in common. With the new Circle compilation, The Mechanic Side Of Nature, now released as compilation EP series, the dualism of nature and life is represented in the mechanic character of electronic music art. By that it is possible to give the issue of Circle Music the face of its music: Reflecting life consequently with electronic music and digital sound poems in all its facets. On the fourth part Onno &Victor Coral pres. Presetone, Koning & Schultz, Umek and Andrea Paganin are presenting their tracks."

"With the first Circle Music compilation The World Of Circle, the label presented itself as a community of artists, as a family, that proclaimed continuous movement, pure power and brilliant soundscapes in various styles which have these three attributes in common. With the new Circle compilation Mechanic Side Of Nature, now released as compilation EP series, the dualism of nature and life is represented in the mechanic character of electronic music art. By that it is possible to give the issue of Circle Music the face of its music: reflecting life consequently with electronic music and digital sound poems in all its facets. On the first part, Valentino Kanzyani, Toni Rios, Stryke and Audio Injection present their tracks. A1. Valentino Kanzyani - 'Valkanizateur': the co-founder of Recycled Loops and label-head of Jesus Loved You created a very techy and dark dancefloor smasher with filtered synthesizer sounds squaring the listener with sharp sound design. The vocals come directly out of hell and the percussions wash every clear thought out of the brain. This track is a killer. A2. Toni Rios - 'Old Man's Chord':Toni Rios' track 'Old Man's Chord' convinces with deep and sensual vocals as well as with strong beats and nice synthesizer structures. There is no breathtaking while the track is not overloaded with effects or too many elements that would close the room for any possibility to move in it. The German techno legend shows one more time he has everything under control. B1. Stryke - 'Little Miracles': DJ Stryke, famous for his releases on labels like Monoid, Droid, Circle of course, Ovum or Strictly Hype since the early '90s, this man from Florida creates a sound army of robots that are in a very bad mood. Stomping everything down that stands in their way, they are reach far into the sky to grab every single star out of it. B2. Audio Injection - 'Droid Attack': Out of L.A., Audio Injection brings the next 'Droid Attack' to the dancefloor. Releasing on labels like Monoid, Droid Recordings, Stimulus or Tyrisia, David F. is home with every style of techno music one could imagine. His androids are the more computer-like beings. With weird ringing sounds of organic stuff changing into electronic, they show that the machines are coming."

"The new EP from Uros Umek will shake you on Circle Music. The Slovenian (Ljubiliana) born DJ and producer probably is the most prolific Slovenian artist who characterized the electronic music scene in Slovenia and techno in general all over the world like no other artist from Eastern Europe. Famous for his huge DJ skills, because he knows his tunes like no other, he is playing at events, festivals and clubs all over the world and released his tracks on labels like Renaissance, Spielzeug, Tortured, Nova Mute or Recycled Loops, just to name a few. In 2007, he brought his characteristic sound to a whole new level and founded the internet music platform 1605 -- sixteenofive. So we are glad to present you two productions out of the Umek lab."

"Label owner Alex Flatner teams up with Lopazz for their new project on Circle Music! Here they are -- shaking your bones and smashing your minds. With this sure dancefloor cracker, both are vocalizing their love for pure dancefloor action. So listen to the sexy vocals of Lopazz himself, the glaring arrangement, and the pure sequencing, and get caught up by the man famous for his film scores as well as his tracks on Get Physical, Compost or Output and the man behind the labels Circle Music, Gedankensport and Harthouse. Never seen perfect circles? Be prepared! Rock on! A1: 'Perfect Circles' is the atmospheric dancefloor burner we waited for this year! Starting with very soulful vocals, sung by Lopazz himself, you won't know where the track aims at, but as time and the first tacts go by, the leading synths fade in from the back and you will be attacked by the thrilling and creepy melody that will groove your mind. Don't look into the grey and dark sky, because witches and vampires are flying there in perfect circles, hunting everybody with red and warm blood flushing in the veins." Includes Damián Schwartz & Reboot remixes.

"Dan Corco -- a name that strikes... The alias used by the French DJ and producer Pierre Corcodan has become a trademark for melodic yet driving, Detroit-influenced techno and techhouse that hits like the first rays of the sun climbing over the horizon on a fresh morning. Perfectly apt to enchant any summery outdoor party after a wild night in a club somewhere South, the colourful sounds of Dan Corco, released on influential labels such as Dave Angel's Rotation Records, Scandium, and Goodlife, leave a mark wherever they get played. Emotional and kicking at the same time, it is no surprise that Dan, a very open-minded producer whose passion is to incorporate various styles in techno, fusing them with elements of other genres and combining them freely to create his very own deep and shiny sound, gets more and more attention outside of his country: picked up by Alex Flatner's renowned Circle, his new EP, ram-packed with melodic synths, leaves a positive impression which is enforced by Robert Babicz's (also known as Rob Acid) stunning remix."
