"How conservative has experimental music become today? The sound of valve amplifiers stagnates with time. Making appropriate room in our listening environment, they soon found their ideal placement with surprising efficiency. Before we knew it, they were set up. In some occasions we have wondered where and when it all began, and we have never been able to find an answer to completely satisfy our curiosity. The type of behavior a system may exhibit depends on the initial state of the system and the values of its parameters, if any: 'Du heisst Jasmin, ich heisse Rita'. We have a tradition of humour in music, resulting in a not exactly homogeneous musical field. Under these circumstances, it is impossible to write a constructive review."

"Frank's newest output on Dom Elchklang features music that he originally composed for an exposition of french architecture in Bordeaux, France. 'Weingüter', a quadrophonic piece in 4 parts (for 4 tube amplifiers) was actually never performed, as his concert at the exhibition had to be stopped when Frank began to throw grand crus at the audience. 10 years after this 'event' the original composition is available to the recordbuyer for the first time (carefully mixed down to stereo by Achim P. Li Khan). Compared to its predecessor 'Schuss in den Ofen', 'Weingüter' shows Frank in a more 'power-electronics' mood, featuring some adventurous use of synthesized amplifier sounds."

"Ten (!) years after their amazingly bizarre debut, Anemonengurt dive even deeper into heavy blasts of intelligent fake-powerrock and strangely unique lyrics for their 'second coming'. Here is a crushing, multi-faced beast of an album, due to the new found strength of the song shaping in combination with their good old cheap death metal synthi sound. Conjointly with the odd cover artwork, Bocuse Berneau can be seen as one of the most fascinating CDs published within the last years. The lazy late night beats and truly soulful vocals of Feuerboy are incredible and Kirk Kleber's cool and stylish performance on the title track evokes the thrill of struggling between heaven and hell."

"A lot of H.N.A.S. fans all over the world kept asking to finally re-release on CD what they consider one of H.N.A.S.'s definitive masterpieces (along with Im Schatten der Möhr and Melchior): P. Li Khan's solo side of H.N.A.S. Ach, dieser Bart! LP. Originally issued on vinyl in 1988 (KK records, Belgium) this recordings (included here is the very rare bonus 7" track) show why Dr. P. Li Khan and H.N.A.S. are rated as pioneering forces of experimental music in the 80s/90s. An astonishing wild mix-up of strange songs, bizarre cutups and an overall 'kraut-tone' make these tracks so special. The other part of the CD gives an overview of P. Li Khan's more recent live works during his 2 year stay in Asia, 2000-2002, covering several in-concert recordings from China, Korea and Vietnam."
