"Dump Valve return with some cutting edge vocal grime courtesy of Wonder. This 12" features vocal tracks from two of the UK's finest MCs. On 'Call My Name' the distinct vocals of top UK hip-hop MC & Mercury Prize nominee Sway are a great compliment to Wonder's futuristic urban beats. Also featured is the groundbreaking collaboration with Kano, only ever available as a very limited release in 2004. Finishing the package is an essential instrumental version of 'Death B4,' one of Wonder's heaviest tunes to date. The tunes have been getting support from across the grime spectrum & beyond with plays from Maximum & Karnage (Roll Deep), Logan Sama (Kiss FM), Plastician (Radio 1), Geeneus (FWD>>)."

"Another essential 12" of dubstep/grime crossover business from Geeneus' Dump Valve camp. For the dubstep heads, there's two of Wonder's futuristic instrumental urban beats which have been getting good reactions down at FWD>>. For fans of vocal grime we have Bruza from Terror Danjah's Aftershock crew adding his distinct cockney humor to 'Shout.' The tunes have been getting support from across the grime spectrum & beyond with plays from Maximum & Karnage (Roll Deep), Logan Sama (Kiss FM), Plastician (Radio 1), Geeneus (FWD>>)."

"After releasing the grime album of the year, Wonder's Welcome To Wonderland, Dump Valve return with a double-pack to get grime fans' pulses racing. Many of the scene's top names feature on this release, with some of the biggest tunes of recent times seeing light of day. Tracks by Wiley, Tubby & Geeneus have featured heavily on radio, mixes and DVDs throughout last year, whilst lesser known tracks by Roll Deep's Danny Weed & Scratchy, True Tiger, & DOK make this an essential purchase. A truly diverse release from grime's most consistent label."

"Wonder is the uber-producer the underground has been keeping secret for the past five years. A founding member of Roll Deep, Wonder soon left the collective to walk his own path -- Welcome To Wonderland is the tapestry of the journey that followed. Perhaps best known for producing Dizzee Rascals 'Respect Me' (Showtime) and being commissioned by XL Recordings for the remix of Prodigy's 'Voodoo People,' Welcome To Wonderland is Wonder's debut album. It showcases his ability to fashion claustrophobic atmospheres with commodious patterns and is peppered with brilliant guests including Mobo award winning Sway, 679's wunderkind Kano, and 'Booty La La' songstress Mpho Skeef. Bread & Roses Remix, is one example of Wonder's understanding of aural ananda, splicing Mr Hudson's vocals to subtly devastating effect, but listening to a Wonder production is like eavesdropping on a heated conversation between planets, so whilst each of the vocalled tracks could be released as a single in their own right, instrumentals like 'Take Two' kidnap your imagination and -- with the right speakers -- take you on a four-and-a-half minute journey beyond the realms of normality. Earning his stripes on legendary pirate station Rinse FM, Wonder has built up a huge following. He's toured the United States as Dizzee Rascals' 'Showtime' tour DJ, and travelled the length and breadth of Europe playing all the nooks and crannies between dubstep, grime and Theo Parrish-inspired house. It was at Rinse FM that Wonder hooked up pioneer producer/DJ Geeneus, who is releasing Wonder's album on his imprint, Dumpvalve. Wonder, sought after by labels including XL Recordings, reforms a relationship first forged with Dumpvalve in 2004 with the release of 'What,' which is better known to the masses as the instrumental for Dizzee Rascal's 'Respect Me.' This album represents the time for Wonder to shine in his own right."

"Danny Weed of Roll Deep comes with another heavyweight 12" on the highly-respected Dump Valve. With its intense, almost operatic intro & rolling drop, 'Kick Off' has been smashing up raves and radio for some time now. There are two more big riddims on the flip, with 'Combat' revisiting the familiar riffs of Danny's classic 'Shank Riddim' (aka Roll Deep's smash 'When I'm Ere')."

"After the success of Geeneus' 'What' remix and Wiley's Avenger, Dump Valve are back with another of the biggest rhythms in the scene. Scratchy is best known for his charismatic MCing as a member of Roll Deep, but here has turned his hand to production and come up with 'Shangooli,' an unclassifiable club banger that straddles the divide between 4x4, grime and dubstep. With the original being a staple of Roll Deep and Rinse FM sets for some time, this release also features 2 hot remixes by two of the biggest names in grime -- Wiley and Geeneus."
