Mehmet Aslan returns to his own Fleeting Wax imprint to deliver the first in a series of releases as part of a new project, Ghost Station, including a collaboration with fellow Turkish singer, songwriter and vocal producer, Idil Mese. "Efsun" is the sound of Idil Mese transforming an understated, somewhat folksy instrumental of Aslan's into a bewitching and subtle musical spell. On "ghost station", layers of meaning and recording slowly unravel, revealing a compelling soundscape.

Alex Pletnev joins you as Pletnev for Aztec Code/Daywalker. Inspired by the fat kicks and live bass lines of the big beat era, Pletnev combines a jumping beat with African percussion and a charismatic vocal on "Aztec Code". "Daywalker" is a completely original, synthesized outing. A sleazy lead line charms and slithers upwards between layers of syncopated tabla and a sultry acidic groove. Sound artist Eva Geist joins Fleeting Wax label head Mehmet Aslan to spin "Daywalker". Their hazy rework dubs out some electronic elements, adding contorted sound design, distant vocals, lo-fi samples, and an Italo leaning bass.

For their fifth release, Fleeting Wax welcomes Jonny Rock to the label with Oldschoolrider Edits Vol. 5. A familiar and reliable musical force, Jonny has proven his tastes time and time again with releases on labels like Cocktail D'amore and Oye edits. This three-tracker rides Middle Eastern waves, reflecting mystical vibrations to take you through time and space. Jonny delivers reworks of "Radio Morocco", an Italo-tainted workout that rumbles and punches. "Housey Mousey" is an exquisitely eerie acid house jam from '88 and "Yab Yum" is a wild and percussive trip.
