For the tenth release on London independent Goon Club Allstars, the label present Banshee, a producer plucked from the murky internet landscape. Banshee is a perfect fit for their undefined club world. Following on from his sold-out white label High Let Me Fly, Banshee takes remembered fragments of singers found in deep YouTube wormholes, and loops them to transcendent effect, both hi-def, hi-gloss but othered, with new meanings bubbling out of the fissures at the points where they've been reassembled.

Gqom innovator DJ Lag continues to showcase his keen talent for crafting charged, minimalist genresplicing sound. "Let's Do This" exhibits an intense and euphoric big room feel, whilst "Drumming" and "Switz" display tense, potent drumwork and sparse & spectral club patterns.

Goon Club Allstars are back with an EP from UK Funky producer KG. In 2007 Karen Nyame, aka KG, was at the Nottingham Trent University producing beats on Fruity Loops. "808" and "Midnight (Flute Riddim)" are two lost anthems. "808" is the party anthem; it's joyous, quivering melodies ascend above the thumping kick drum. "Midnight (Flute Riddim)" is softer and slinkier, built for smoldering club action. On his remix of "808", BSNYEA focuses on the whistles and gutter synth lines. Hitmakerchinx brings his signature FDM energy, dropping the tempo and building the light, airiness on a remix for "Midnight".

Widely acknowledged as gqom originators, the duo's latest record Gqomwave EP is comprised of four tracks, each bursting with intense, driving rhythms and boundless energy. Gqom is again the core around which the whole EP functions, as blazing sirens and charging beats play out on opener "Major Turn Up", but subtle, stylistic nuances point to a growing maturity in their work. The springy elasticity of "Bounce Back" and the sharp, stripped-back drums on relentless club burner "No Mercy" each offer smoldering takes on the gqom sound, while "Asjableni" features the gritty, hypnotic vocals of long-time collaborator T_D Snaxx.

Having already introduced the UK to gqom - a variant of raw, stripped back South African house from the city of Durban - Goon Club Allstars have tapped scene kingpin DJ Lag for an explosive four-track EP. Credited as one of the key players for shaping the gqom sound as it exists today, Lag's eminence in South Africa is well-documented and on his new EP, he exhibits everything that makes it tick; fierce, powerful drums, mazy rhythms and bubbling club patterns. Compiled from a back catalog stretching back over four years, the EP showcases his sound to the fullest.

After a slew of edits popping up all over grime sets, Gundam comes with his first 12" single for London based record label, Goon Club Allstars. "Intimate" is a big, bashy R'n'B chop, while "Too Late" is the softer summer cruiser.
