"The fifth edition of Great Stuff's EP series Munich Disco Tech again features no artists from Munich or even Germany but still the full flavour of that concept. With Juan Sanchez from Amsterdam, the Canadians Sultan & Ned Shepard (Harem Records/Global Underground), Tignino & Leo from Italy's very south island Sicily (featuring Jim Kerr's son on the mic) remixed by Kling Klong artist Oliver Klein. Plus Denis Horvat from Denmark. A very heterogenous mixture of styles and artists from all over the planet, which rocks in different situations."

"The infamous Munich Disco Tech EP returns with its fourth installment with only tracks from duos, from No. 1 artists to rather unknown producers but from all around the globe. Spanish Beatport No. 1 duo Coyu & Edu Imbernon, already known from labels like liebe*detail and diynamic. Carlo Dall Anese & Fabio Castro from Brazil, Fuxblut from Vienna and last but not least the Italians Dariush & DJDa."

"Great Stuff is very proud to have the original the Tzatziki Groove Man on board: Mihalis Safras from Athens/Greece, one of the most productive techno producers on the planet with releases and remixes on Trapez, 2020 Vision, Sci + Tec, his own labels Material Series and Playmobil Series and upcoming stuff on BPitch Control and Soma. Mellowing his style as times goes by, getting more experimental and spacey with a fresh style of his own, Mihalis's production is destined to the wiser dancefloors and most of his vinyls receive international awareness by reaching into charts of the biggest DJs like Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Adam Beyer, Ricardo Villalobos and many more."

"NamTRAK is the sideproject of Berlin's hottest import from Iran: Namito. After two fantastic collaborations with Martin Eyerer (as Eyerer & Namito) this is his first soloproject for Great Stuff and it definitely rocks big time. Also because of the help of Cologne's successful global player Tocadisco, whose remix takes it to the next level in terms of peaktime techno while Butch's studio partner Amir (Ad Fontes) takes the tech house route for full effect."

"Tomcraft's amazing Boogie Nights is still unforgotten, but it was time for his next bomb, produced again in cooperation with studio mate Tobias Lützenkirchen. Using the main theme from one of Tomcraft's favorite films, Basic Instinct, this track should become a milestone in atmospheric club music for the German techno legend. Belgian wonder-boy Ramon Tapia added his first remix for Great Stuff, just after the release of his fantastic mini album Mini Jack, which gets massive props from all around the globe. The bonus track 'They Don't Know' is a simple but very effective club tune with its driving stabs and exploding breakdowns."

"Ramon Tapia is definitely one of the hottest new talents in Europe. With only a handful of releases and remixes on labels like Turbo, Craft Music, CR2, Yellow Tail, Blu Fin (also under his side project El Carlitto) his DJ and production career kickstarted from zero to none. The steady support by the likes of Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Jimpster, Peter Kruder, Gus Gus, Luke Solomon and Martin Eyerer helped him get confidence in the stylistic path of his choice. This mini album Mini Jack will be the next big highlight for the Belgian producer from Antwerp, son of a Chilean political refugee and a Dutch mother. Like in his earlier profession as an official goldsmith, his soundscapes are pure, machine-made jewelry, all perfectly polished for the dancefloor."

"Just some weeks after the release of Volume 1, this new Great Stuff series delivers Volume Two. Again, no needless bonus tracks or B-sides, only great tunes from great artists. Starting with Great Stuff A&R Rainer Weichhold himself, as after the overwhelming success with Bamboo it was time for another gem. Again produced with mate Bülent Gürler aka Butch; again different, always funky, always a crowdpleaser. Then Tonka's big tune 'Orca' from EP Vol. 1 with a huge tech-house remix from his friend Ian Pooley, a true German house legend, who not only released his new album recently but also just produced the new DJ T. single for Pokerflat. Daniel Bortz is resident DJ at Munich's great club Rote Sonne where Great Stuff also runs the monthly 'Great Stuff Night.' The very talented young producer and DJ also runs his own label Plastamusik where an early version of 'Südwind' was released in 2007 which was heavily played by Sven Väth. Check his fresh 'Re-Edit' of this anthem. Finally, as always, there's space for great newcomers at Great Stuff. The French duo Superslut from Béziers fascinates with a fusion of Flamenco guitars and peak-time minimal techno, which should give immediate pleasure to your dancefloor."

"One year after their last collaboration Quipa it has been an amazing kickstart for both of them. Martin Eyerer released his highly acclaimed debut album Word Of Mouth on his very own label Kling Klong and Namito had a huge single hit with 'City Of Gods' and got massive props for his releases Zizou (Kling Klong) and his Great Summergames Stuff contribution 'Iran.' While Martin's recent 12" Furthermore was just released with remixes by Marc Romboy and Oliver Klein & Peter Jürgens, both friends found the time for this Great Stuff EP. 'Feuersee' is destined to be a huge peak-time anthem with its awesome combination of catchy melody and roaring bass, while the Sunset mix takes it deeper down. And if you're into wicked breakdowns then 'Seefeuer' gives you just that. And big time."

"This is the first volume of a new series, featuring the sound of Munich, Great Stuff's beautiful hometown in the sunny south of Germany and also native town of Giorgio Moroder's disco sound. Munich Disco Tech presents great tracks from undiscovered talents, upcoming producers or even legendary artists, which are not necessarily from Munich but who reflect the sound of the monthly Great Stuff Night at Munich's hot club Rote Sonne. On Vol. 1 we proudly present the return of a proper legend and innovator: Tonka, who started a new genre with his cut up disco releases on Force Inc. already in 1993 and ruled the world of house music with groundbreaking remixes and his own tracks for a whole generation. After a four year break and a move to Munich he's back better than ever with two stunning tech-house tunes. John Evans aka Scary Grant from Italy are well known for their releases/remixes on Lo Fi Stereo, Hi Freaks and OM Records and also delivered a freaky rocking piece of house music for this EP in true Munich Disco Tech style. Last but not least, the great District One remix (by Bart Skils & Anton Pieete) of Danish artists Klovn."

"For us it's the track that Daft Punk never did. The track that can change your life. That will determine your memory of summer 2008 even in 20 years just like Stardust, Alan Braxe, Cassius, etc. So welcome back Mason, the Dutch DJ/producer who took the time he needed to make it right and 2008 his year again. With a track that can't be bigger, that is Disco Tech at its very best. Enjoy this future classic including great remixes by Kling Klong artists Oliver Klein & Peter Jürgens and Craft Music boss Tomcraft."

"This is Volume 5 in Great Stuff's notorious Roots Edition with huge remixes by Kabale Und Liebe from Holland and Kling Klong artist Stephan Hinz. After re-releasing classics by Whirlpool Productions, Nicolette and Rockers Hi-Fi, it's up to British DJ and producer legends Dave & Justin aka Pressure Drop now to continue. Their amazing piece of house music was originally released in 1992 featuring the sensitive vocals of Joanna Law and became a massive hit not only in the sets of Kruder & Dorfmeister, Rainer Trüby, Jazzanova and Gilles Peterson. Listening to the original nowadays it's obvious how timeless their production and songwriting was 15 years ago."

"Again a fantastico newcomer: DJ and producer Alex Cappelli from Florence (Italy). The hypnotic synth line on 'Bloody Notes' is meant to drive every crowd crazy and A&R Rainer Weichhold was quickly convinced by this bomb. And Butch also saw the potential and added his trademark sound to that release which is with no doubt his best remix ever."

Features tracks by Lützenkirchen, Swen Weber, Fergie (produced with Gregor Tresher) and Wehbba. Taken from the Great Carnival Stuff compilation. "It's Carnival time all over the world and Great Stuff comes up with its first compilation full of exclusive carnival goodies from their artists and friends. Infected by the groove and spirit of Rio, Venice, Trinidad Tobago, Cologne/Mainz, Mardi Gras. 11 artists from all over the world (Wehbba from Brazil, Fergie from Ireland, Florian Meindl from London, Koletzki and Namito from Berlin) produced exclusive tracks for that compilation. And obviously they had to capture the carnival vibe and transform it into an outstanding track. Oliver Koletzki and Swen Weber were in full samba feeling, while Butch was inspired by his hometown carnival in Mainz/Germany and Florian Meindl by Venice/Italy. Other artists like Namito, Nudisco and Stephan Hinz used the percussive aspect of carnival for their track which definitely resulted in a great groove. By the way, Irish techno god Fergie did his production together with Gregor Tresher to make it real Great Carnival Stuff."

"No. 4 in the famous Great Stuff Roots Edition, this time from one of the legendary voices of UK club culture: Nicolette, also known as 'Billie Holiday on acid.' She was not only inventing drum & bass with the project Shut Up And Dance, but she also did two of the most famous songs on the groundbreaking Massive Attack album Protection. Then Nicolette met Gilles Peterson and he signed her to his label and released No Government which became one of the most beautiful Talkin' Loud releases. So Great Stuff is very proud of this classic, which got the ultimate remix treatment by the king of remixers, Tocadisco and by Vienna's G-Stone artists and hot upcoming producer and DJ duo Makossa & Megablast."

"Finally, after a long break due to many remixes, their great forthcoming compilation for Kiddaz.FM and DJ gigs all over the world, our favorite duo from Berlin is back with 2 new bombs: 'Believe' again with vocalist Valeska (known for her voice on 'Easy') is a beautiful piece of sophisticated dark house music in typical Trick & Kubic style. Irresistible!! 'Container' on the B-side the perfect track for your peak time set. A great bassline, effective breakdowns and phat drums. What do you want more?"

"After a very successful EP on Kling Klong, Italian mastermind Andrea Doria left for even bigger things to great stuff. 'Yaoo!' is nothing more than a peak time dancefloor explosion, 100% evil and aggressive. Ramon Zenker alias 50% of Zen-Kei and Hardfloor with his first and unbelievable mix on Great Stuff for all elektro house fans, while Swedish duo Minilogue makes it deep and minimal and follow their great releases on Crosstown Rebels and Traum."
