Guitarist Eddie Glass and drummer Ruben Romano formed Nebula in 1997 after breaking away from desert rock pioneers Fu Manchu, eventually recruiting bassist Mark Abshire. The power trio specializes in feedback-drenched heavy rock, incorporating liberal doses of Black Sabbath riffery, psychedelia, and space rock. The band released a number of EPs before moving onto full-length albums like 1999's To the Center and 2001's Charged. They've mainly distinguished themselves as a very hard-working live unit Nebula creates pure guitar-driven, conscious expanding rock for the 21st century. They are a culmination of their rock forbearers such as Jimi Hendrix, MC5, The Stooges, and Mudhoney turned up a notch, taken to the next level, and blasting through space. Nebula spread their gospel through their music and what they are preaching will leave the congregation on the floor. In 2017 the band decided to reissue three of their crucial early works via Heavy Psych Sounds Records: 1998's Let it Burn, 1999's To the Center, and 2002's Dos EPs, which includes the material originally released on 1999's Sun Creature and a Nebula/Lowrider split. Followed by the re-release of Nebula's Charged and the special release of Demos & Outtakes '98-02 in early 2019, this summer and after 13 years will be seeing the band return with not only a new line-up but also their brand new full-length, a news that will definitely make every desert rock-heart beat faster.

RELEASE DATE: 5/30/2025
More than 20 years after their debut, Witchcraft's seventh album, IDAG, is an awaited full accounting of who they are as a band. Those who have clamored for the return to an earlier sound rooted in '70s classic progressive and heavy rock will delight to the strut of "Irreligious Flamboyant Flame" while the eight-minute opening title-track is the heaviest the band have ever sounded, and a succession of interspersed acoustic-based pieces helps create a vision of a new, soulfully folkish doom taking shape as they continue to move inexorably forward. The storyline of Witchcraft's growth, from Pelander's starting the band in Örebro in 2000 in the wake of his prior outfit Norrsken's disbanding. A generational landmark of a 2004 self-titled debut helped spark a retroist movement that has become its own subgenre, but Witchcraft never stopped growing. IDAG is the tie that draws all of their more than two decades of exploring and growth together. Whatever they've done in the past and whatever they'll do in the future, IDAG feels like a nexus for defining who and what Witchcraft are. Also available on LP (HPS 353LP), orange vinyl (HPS 353LTD1-LP), purple vinyl (HPS 353LTD2-LP), and red/white/blue vinyl (HPS 353ULTRA-LP).

RELEASE DATE: 5/23/2025
LP version. Gold color vinyl version. Repress of the highly acclaimed album. "Black Metal is one hell of an album. It's a downbeat, dark folk album, that manages to capture the vibe of the band's earlier work quite well. Pelander has managed to make a "doom album" without actually making one in the traditional sense. Black Metal manages to capture the world weary, woeful, attitude and vibe of doom better than a ton of albums that crank up the Sabbath worship to ridiculous levels. It's a work of darkness and despair and therefore it is another captivating chapter of this band's discography." --New Noise Magazine. Also available on CD (HPS 355CD), black vinyl (HPS 355LP), and purple/yellow/orange vinyl (HPS 355ULTRA-LP).

LP version. Orange/green/yellow color vinyl. "Violence Dimension is our seventh full length release. We have come quite a distance in time and space since we released Horseback in 2010. One thing that binds us all is violence, be that within a video game, or in a movie or on the daily news. Violence affects our daily life, perhaps more than love or kindness ever will. We are all bound by death, whether we like it or not. This release explores the hinterland between being scared to live and bring scared to die, and punches holes in the idea that we must live our life by one set of rules. We all live in the violence dimension, and there is no escape." --Conan. Also available in CD (HPS 341CD), black vinyl (HPS 341LP), and red vinyl (HPS 341LTD-LP).

RELEASE DATE: 4/4/2025
LP version. Orange/blue/green color vinyl. Dead Meadow's highly anticipated tenth studio album Voyager to Voyager marks a defining moment in their illustrious 26-year journey. Revered as a pioneering force in the heavy psychedelic rock scene since their formation in the late '90s, the band delivers not only their most emotionally charged and sonically expansive album to date but also a powerful tribute to their brother, late bassist Steve Kille, whose battle against cancer and untimely passing in early 2024 has made it the poignant end of a chapter in the band's history. Written and recorded across three intense sessions in downtown LA's Ultrasound Studios, Voyager to Voyager perfectly encapsulates Dead Meadow's raw energy and creative chemistry. The result is an album that is unmistakably Dead Meadow: expansive, melody-driven, and deeply rooted in their unique sound -- one that honors both their roots and the cosmic imagery that defines Voyager to Voyager. While Voyager to Voyager is anything but a tribute album, it does ultimately stand as a celebration of Kille's immeasurable legacy. His unique and endlessly creative bass playing helped shape Dead Meadow's sound while his singular artistic vision created iconic album covers and defined the band's visual identity. With Voyager to Voyager, Dead Meadow once again affirms their place in the pantheon of modern psych rock by pushing their sound to new heights, all the while honoring the deep creative bond they have shared through nearly three decades of melting minds worldwide -- and perhaps even beyond that time and space continuum. The end of a chapter and a cosmic journey we shall embrace fully. Also available on CD (HPS 331CD), black vinyl (HPS 331LP), and red (HPS 331LTD-LP).

"As always, we decided to do our own thing. We're just so over the same old tired riffs and worn-out stoner vibes, like a pair of Birkenstocks at an indie concert, and let's not even start on those 'super interesting' lyrics about how to smoke weed (seriously, tell us more!). So here we are at a crossroad: should we just follow the crowd and do what everyone else is doing, or should we put in the hard work to create something that actually makes us happy while we play it? Well, here's Melting Pop! It's not stoner, it's not garage, it's not punk, it's not psych, it's not even a traditional album. It's melting, a blend of FVZZ POPVLI saying 'screw the labels' and just going with the flow, all natural, like grown-ups with no preservatives." --FVZZ POPVLI. Also available on black vinyl (HPS 336LP), blue vinyl (HPS 336LTD-LP), and yellow/red/purple vinyl (HPS 336ULTRA-LP).
