Guitarist Eddie Glass and drummer Ruben Romano formed Nebula in 1997 after breaking away from desert rock pioneers Fu Manchu, eventually recruiting bassist Mark Abshire. The power trio specializes in feedback-drenched heavy rock, incorporating liberal doses of Black Sabbath riffery, psychedelia, and space rock. The band released a number of EPs before moving onto full-length albums like 1999's To the Center and 2001's Charged. They've mainly distinguished themselves as a very hard-working live unit Nebula creates pure guitar-driven, conscious expanding rock for the 21st century. They are a culmination of their rock forbearers such as Jimi Hendrix, MC5, The Stooges, and Mudhoney turned up a notch, taken to the next level, and blasting through space. Nebula spread their gospel through their music and what they are preaching will leave the congregation on the floor. In 2017 the band decided to reissue three of their crucial early works via Heavy Psych Sounds Records: 1998's Let it Burn, 1999's To the Center, and 2002's Dos EPs, which includes the material originally released on 1999's Sun Creature and a Nebula/Lowrider split. Followed by the re-release of Nebula's Charged and the special release of Demos & Outtakes '98-02 in early 2019, this summer and after 13 years will be seeing the band return with not only a new line-up but also their brand new full-length, a news that will definitely make every desert rock-heart beat faster.

Margarita Witch Cult captured lightning in a bottle with their 2023 debut -- a blink-and-you'll-miss-it behemoth that saw the band thrash and burn through Europe and the UK, picking up legions of fans and touring with the likes of Cancer Bats, Monster Magnet, and Nebula. Now, the Birmingham trio are set to pick their teeth with the bones of their own past -- as their second LP Strung Out In Hell takes everything that was so compelling about their debut and turns the knob up to 11; rips off the knob; throws the knob into the fires of hell and cackles maniacally in the wake of its demoniacal glory. From top-to-tail, "Strung Out In Hell" is a cloven hoof to the chest; a dizzying descent through infernus. It will caress you only to chew you up and spit you out. It is the soundtrack to the afterparty of all life on earth. Succumb to its sordid siren song. Bolder, stranger, and downright more-mean, there's no better time to jump on the Margarita Witch Cult train- and it's going straight down, fast. Also available on black vinyl (HPS 360LP), gold vinyl (HPS 360LTD-LP), and yellow/orange/red color vinyl (HPS 360ULTRA-LP).

Repress in CD of this amazing album featuring tracks of the first EP Through The Devil's Doorway and the debut full length Capricorn. "Orchid have become a great band, from a good band that tended to rely on Sabbath-isms a little bit too much for their debut. But in no certain terms is that a bad thing. Few bands could play like this and pull it off with vigor and soul. Orchid did that, and The Zodiac Sessions is definitely worth a listen. It riffs and grooves hard, sometimes that's all you need." --The Sleeping Shaman

LP version. Orange/green/yellow color vinyl. "Violence Dimension is our seventh full length release. We have come quite a distance in time and space since we released Horseback in 2010. One thing that binds us all is violence, be that within a video game, or in a movie or on the daily news. Violence affects our daily life, perhaps more than love or kindness ever will. We are all bound by death, whether we like it or not. This release explores the hinterland between being scared to live and bring scared to die, and punches holes in the idea that we must live our life by one set of rules. We all live in the violence dimension, and there is no escape." --Conan. Also available in CD (HPS 341CD), black vinyl (HPS 341LP), and red vinyl (HPS 341LTD-LP).

LP version. Magenta/blue/orange color vinyl. Brand new live album for the US hard rock power trio. Five tracks full of psychedelic '70s riffs. Hippie Death Cult's journey through shameless and triumphant artistic expression has led them to become a vibrant force in the realms of psychedelia and riff-heavy rock n' roll. This journey has not been without its challenges, but the band has always managed to emerge stronger and more determined than ever. Throughout their formative years, the band underwent what proved to be a very significant evolution, transitioning from a four-piece to a more cohesive and harmonious power trio. This lineup currently consists of guitarist and founder Eddie Brnabic, vocalist and bassist Laura Phillips, and drummer Harry Silvers. In 2019, Hippie Death Cult caught the attention of Cursed Tongue Records, who signed them for the release of their highly-anticipated album 111. The record was met with widespread acclaim, solidifying their place in the music scene. Building on this success, the band made another significant move in 2021 by signing with Heavy Psych Sounds Records. This partnership resulted in the release of their album Circle of Days and a split release titled Doom Sessions Vol. 5 with label mates High Reeper. Both full-length albums soared to the very top of the Doom Charts as well as many "Album Of The Year" lists, further cementing their status as a rising force in the genre. Beyond their studio work, Hippie Death Cult is renowned for their electrifying and passionate stage performances. Their captivating stage presence have taken them on tours across the United States, Canada, and Europe, where they have garnered a dedicated and growing fanbase. With their unwavering dedication to their craft and their ability to push boundaries, Hippie Death Cult is poised to leave an indelible mark on the music scene for years to come.

Repress of the highly acclaimed album. "Black Metal is one hell of an album. It's a downbeat, dark folk album, that manages to capture the vibe of the band's earlier work quite well. Pelander has managed to make a "doom album" without actually making one in the traditional sense. Black Metal manages to capture the world weary, woeful, attitude and vibe of doom better than a ton of albums that crank up the Sabbath worship to ridiculous levels. It's a work of darkness and despair and therefore it is another captivating chapter of this band's discography." --New Noise Magazine. LP version. Black/white/red color vinyl. Even the name is mysterious -- Black Honey Cult evokes a sense of intrigue and the otherworldly, a fitting moniker for a band born out of deep roots in Los Angeles' storied underground music scene. The story begins in the early '90s, when Johnny DeVilla and Jake Cavaliere first crossed paths, performing in various bands at the legendary JabberJaw, a hub for raw talent and boundary-pushing sound. Fast forward to 2003, when Spencer Robinson joined forces with Jake and Johnny in The Lords of Altamont, solidifying a creative bond that has endured for decades. Over the years, this trio found themselves collaborating time and again, refining their chemistry and exploring new sonic landscapes. It wasn't until 2010 that Black Honey Cult began to take shape, though the journey to a definitive lineup was a winding road. After several incarnations, the band finally coalesced into its current form with the addition of Garey Snider on drums, and Travis Petersen on guitar, whose contributions completed the puzzle. Jake and Garey, longtime conspirators with a shared desire to work together, brought their vision to fruition, creating a group that feels both destined and uniquely fresh. Drawing inspiration from pioneers like The Velvet Underground and psychedelic icons, The 13th Floor Elevators, Black Honey Cult infuses their sound with shades of early goth, post-punk, and krautrock. The result? A hypnotic, genre-defying blend of dark, atmospheric psychedelia that transports listeners to another plane -- like dropping LSD on Mars. The band's sound was brought to life by the legendary Paul Roessler (of Screamers and 45 Grave fame) at Kitten Robot Studios, a perfect match for their haunting and transportive vision. Black Honey Cult stands as a testament to years of collaboration, creativity, and perseverance, offering an immersive experience for those ready to step into their enigmatic world. Prepare to follow the cult and lose yourself in the spellbinding sounds of Black Honey Cult.

Double LP version. Repress of the Orchid second full length. "Strong riffs, a tight rhythm section and psychedelic background guitar passages are the first things that come to mind when trying to describe how the album sounds. Theo Mindell's voice bears some resemblance to Blackie Lawless' and while W.A.S.P. isn't the first band that comes to mind when thinking of doom metal and stoner rock, his voice fits the music perfectly. The production is spot-on, guiding the listener's thoughts to the sound of 'Master Of Reality' while still sounding modern." --metal-archives.com

LP version. Hollows Made Homes In Their Sunken Cheeks came into existence as a result of Jon's wishes to take the Ungraven sound somewhere other than a standard "rock band" setup. Moving away from the traditional "drums/bass/guitar" structure has allowed Ungraven to experiment further with both sound and composition. Hollows Is an experiment in sonics and allows both Davis and Perry to perform a sickening sonic duet as their respective instruments carve a universe shaped hole in your consciousness. Inspired by artists such as Tangerine Dream, Circle, Zombi, and Harold Budd. Hollows is a combination of composed and improvised elements, constructed remotely from their bases in England and Denmark. Fall untethered into a bleak and expansive soundscape of psychedelic terror, experience a new chapter in Ungraven's tome of tone.

Repress of the highly acclaimed album. After the mind-blowing success of the Witchcraft's album Legend in 2012, mastermind Magnus Pelander out did himself with Nucleus. Combining what made its predecessor the modern classic it quickly became with elements of the band's earlier days, Nucleus is a melancholic, raging, fragile, melodic and at times noisy masterpiece between classic rock, doom and ambient music. With an all-new line-up (Rage Widerberg on drums and Tobias Anger on bass) the band sounds more hungry and powerful than ever. In combination with the thrilling, yet very down-to-earth production by Pelander, Philip Gabriel Saxin and Anton Sundell, Nucleus throws you in dreamy sonic landscapes that will mesmerize and haunt you alike. Also available on black vinyl (HPS 354LP), magenta vinyl (HPS 354LTD-LP), and yellow/red/orange vinyl (HPS 354ULTRA-LP).

LP version.

Double LP version. Green color vinyl version. Repress of the debut full length. "Even if the music is not very complex, you can see from miles away that Orchid are fairly good musicians. Capricorn is not only very different from the modern metal albums, but also has a character of its own. You would be able to say which song is which after just one listen. Recommended for fans of Black Sabbath, Graveyard, and Saint Vitus." --metal-archives.com
