Guitarist Eddie Glass and drummer Ruben Romano formed Nebula in 1997 after breaking away from desert rock pioneers Fu Manchu, eventually recruiting bassist Mark Abshire. The power trio specializes in feedback-drenched heavy rock, incorporating liberal doses of Black Sabbath riffery, psychedelia, and space rock. The band released a number of EPs before moving onto full-length albums like 1999's To the Center and 2001's Charged. They've mainly distinguished themselves as a very hard-working live unit Nebula creates pure guitar-driven, conscious expanding rock for the 21st century. They are a culmination of their rock forbearers such as Jimi Hendrix, MC5, The Stooges, and Mudhoney turned up a notch, taken to the next level, and blasting through space. Nebula spread their gospel through their music and what they are preaching will leave the congregation on the floor. In 2017 the band decided to reissue three of their crucial early works via Heavy Psych Sounds Records: 1998's Let it Burn, 1999's To the Center, and 2002's Dos EPs, which includes the material originally released on 1999's Sun Creature and a Nebula/Lowrider split. Followed by the re-release of Nebula's Charged and the special release of Demos & Outtakes '98-02 in early 2019, this summer and after 13 years will be seeing the band return with not only a new line-up but also their brand new full-length, a news that will definitely make every desert rock-heart beat faster.

With Exile to Beyn Neharot, Wyatt E. created the soundtrack of the people of the city of Jerusalem who were sent in exile to Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar II after the siege of the city in 587 BC. The album is divided into two parts: one devoted to the emperor and his military campaign that led to the exile, the other to an allegiance, real or otherwise, to the goddess Ishtar. The record is the first real album of the band (Mount Sinai/Aswan being an EP) and marks the band's debut on the doom/drone scene. It was first released by Jerusalem's label Shalosh Cult. Also available on black vinyl (HPS 325LP), yellow vinyl (HPS 325LTD-LP), and black/orange vinyl (HPS 325ULTRA-LP).

LP version. Purple/yellow/blue color vinyl version. Mount Sinai/Aswan is the first Wyatt E.'s attempt to write the soundscape of a travel in the past which leads to ancient Gods, forgotten cities and lost civilizations. This first record is in a more phantasmagorical vein. It re-imagines an escape to Egypt that stopped at the banks of the Upper Nile. It was released in May 2015 and has only been performed live a handful of times. Also available on CD (HPS 326CD), black vinyl (HPS 326LP), and gold vinyl (HPS 326LTD-LP).

RELEASE DATE: 1/31/2025
LP version. Gold color vinyl version. After two years in the making, Wyatt E. seals their long-awaited return with the highly anticipated narrative sequel to āl bēlūti dārû: Zamāru ultu qereb ziqquratu Part 1 ("Music from inside the Ziggurat"). This is the first chapter of a set of two concept albums in which the band deepens its exploration of ancient Babylon with an almost mythical approach through the eyes of the exiled captives from Jerusalem. Featuring contributions from seven international collaborators, Zamāru ultu qereb ziqquratu is poised to become one of the most ambitious projects in the doom scene in terms of production and conception. The album pushes sonic boundaries by featuring two drummers recorded simultaneously, creating the immersive effect of distant crowds. An eclectic mix of instruments, including the saz, viola, sitar, and bugle, blend with both analog and digital elements to enrich the soundscape. A nod to Turkish composer Fazıl Say is also present, with a quotation from his symphony Mesopotamia. For the first time, two vocal tracks appear alongside the instrumental pieces. Iranian singer Nina Saiedi lends her ethereal voice to "The Diviner's Prayer to the Gods of the Night," sung in Akkadian, while Jerusalem's choir conductor, Tomer Damsky, delivers a captivating performance of Im Lelya in Aramaic adding a deep vocal layer to the album. The final mix, crafted by renowned producer Tim De Gieter, known for his work with Amenra, Brutus, and Absent in Body, brings everything together with a masterful touch. Also available on CD (HPS 327CD), black vinyl (HPS 327LP), and black/red/yellow vinyl (HPS 327ULTRA-LP).

After a nine-year hiatus, Sun And Sail Club are back and they've come back swinging! This album is more aggressive than the previous album, as if that was even possible. Same line-up as before featuring Scott Reeder (Fu Manchu/Smile) on drums, Scott Reeder (Kyuss/The Obsessed/Fireball Ministry) on bass, Bob Balch (Fu Manchu/Slower/Big Scenic Nowhere/Yawning Balch) on guitar and Tony Adolescent (The Adolescents) on vocals. The album starts with a mellow jazz guitar piece and then proceeds to rip your face off until the end of the album, which closes with another solo jazz guitar piece. Shipwrecked is their strongest album yet. Fully realized and to the point. Fast and dissonant. Recorded at Jim Monroe's The Racket Room, Casa De Balch, and Scott Reeder's The Sanctuary. Also available on black vinyl (HPS 321LP), red color vinyl (HPS 321LTD-LP), and splatter color vinyl (HPS 321ULTRA-LP).

LP version. Black/white/orange color vinyl. Reissue of Sun And Sail Club sophomore album. The name might be the Sun and Sail club, but you'll find no yacht rock here. Instead of Michael McDonald, there is Bad Brains. Kenny Loggins? Hall and Oats? More like Matt Pike and Lemmy Fucking Kilmister. The Great White Dope is featuring members of Kyuss, Fu Manchu, and the Adolescents, containing ten riff-filled tracks of high energy, bullshit-free punk and sleaze. The song writing on The Great White Dope steers away from the experimental direction of their previous release, and it's laser focused on one thing: unapologetically rocking your face off. The vocoder is gone and they've recruited singer Tony Adolescent, who delivers balls to the wall vocals with no added effects or frills. The production, like the music itself, is loud, heavy, and beautifully simple. Also available on CD (HPS 320CD), black vinyl (HPS 320LP), and violet color vinyl (HPS 320LTD-LP).

Reissue of the Sun and Sail Club debut album with brand-new artwork by Mirkow Gastow. Sun and Sail Club's debut album Mannequin embarks on territory that is both new and exciting. Not surprisingly, Mannequin spearheads the obvious future and progression of hard rock fury, bringing to the table the true professionalism and mastery, and dynamic musicianship that has been on full display from Fu Manchu, Kyuss, and The Obsessed in years past, but also adds a completely new level of precision, technicality and accuracy to make an album that is almost completely flawless from start to finish. "Overall, this record is heavy and dark. It's Inspired by Devo, Voivod, Kraftwerk, Torche, Slayer as much as it's inspired by Aswad, Joe Pass, and Wes Montgomery. I wanted a super heavy groove that would support angelic vocal harmonies. I think we achieved that." --Bob Balch

Also available on CD (HPS 320CD), black vinyl (HPS 320LP), and black/white/orange color vinyl (HPS 320ULTRA-LP).
