Remote Viewing is a band with five humans. Ex-members of: Palehorse, Million Dead, and others. The music tells the story of cousins choking to death on the night bus. Of failed suicide attempts in provincial supermarket carparks. Of quiet, kind, generosity. Of parents dying. Of beautiful flower arrangements. Of a lack of patience, and then reprieve. "There is no elegant way to spit in your face." As the saying goes. Or doesn't. Doom, hardcore, post-rock, noise, metal. Songs about bodily fluids -- and that awkward loss -- sit neatly against the joys of ornithology, and the most earnest examples of love. And being fucking straight cool. Remote Viewing will remind you of the abject misery of the human experience. At all times.

At the first gig Bruxa Maria and Casual Nun played together in London, an idea was formed to share a record, and two years later the product of that conversation is being released here. Bruxa Maria contribute three tracks to the split LP that pick up where Human Condition (2016) left off; heavy, powerful, and dynamic sounds await within. Casual Nun are following up two successful LPs, 2016's Super Fancy Skeleton (HOSO 003LP), and 2017's Psychometric Testing By... (BOXREC 023LP). Their sound has matured and distilled into a pulsing repetition, more focused and rhythmic, and totally hypnotic. 140 gram vinyl; Includes digital download; Edition of 250.
Echoes & Dust on Casual Nun's Psychometric Testing By...: "All tumultuous sounds hurtling through a cavernous echo chamber, the band dissect what it means to be psychedelic... This is the true sound of the UK underground."

Death Pedals have been a must see live band and fixture of the London DIY scene since around 2010. They've announced that they will be calling time on the band in 2018. To round off their busiest year yet in 2017, they found the time to record their third and final album Death Pedals. The recording of the last release, their third album embraces a more experimental approach than their previous albums. The results are a continuation of the raw noise punk of Meat House (HOSO 005LP, 2016) whilst also bringing in new influences, an almost complete departure from any previous work. With nods to Shellac, Slint, Blacklisters, and Meat Wave, Death Pedals have built on their rock 'n' roll foundations. Heavyweight cardboard; Includes download code; Edition of 250.

London based noise-punks USA Nails release their third album, Shame Spiral. Their desire to record live, and the instinctive and straightforward way in which they approach writing and recording has resulted in a fiercely compelling record that is as endearing as it is primitive. No less loud, brash, or direct as their previous album No Pleasure (2015), Shame Spiral brilliantly captures the band's descent into the dark depths that their beloved post-punk, noise-rock, and no-wave predecessors often probed. Their brand of sarcastic musings complements this stark aesthetic, with rants on London house prices, unrealistic aspirational reality television, charity shop vinyl hoarders, Kraftwerk, and the gun-toting Phil Spector. 140 gram printed inner sleeve; Includes download code; Edition of 300.

Inhabiting all parts of southeast England, the band Mister Lizard play fast, short, and warped hardcore. These songs take influence from power and violence, and cut unnecessary fat like "groove" and "melody". These seven tracks (totaling five minutes and 40 seconds) are an accurate representation of the ridiculousness that the band wished to achieve, with lyrics inspired by conspiracy theories, shape-shifting, and government cover ups. Live, Mister Lizard performances are kept short; putting on a harsh, loud, annoying, bordering-on-offensive shows. RIYL: The Locust, Daughters, Some Girls, Spazz, Napalm Death, Rolo Tomassi, Botch.

Casual Nun are composed of members from Throne, Dethscalator and Kooba Tercu. They came together to make a sound akin to blending the sonic freak-outs of Ash Ra Tempel or Amon Düül with '90s Japanese noise like Up-Tight or Ohkami No Jikan. Super Fancy Skeleton was recorded in a few hours at Wayne Adam's Bear Bites Horse studio in London in December 2015. 140 gram black vinyl in 350gsm DW reverse board sleeve. "That is what good music is supposed to do - remove you from your everyday existence and move you in some way. Casual Nun use a hypnotic style of psychedelia which plays off both its pure noise and little moments of experimental bliss. It's unforgiving yet still approachable and that is what makes it all the more dangerous. This is the sound of the true underground of London at the moment, and it's the sound being replicated right across the country. We live in interesting times. An excellent release." --Echoes And Dust.

Formed in London 2010, Death Pedals have spent seven years pedaling their own brand of hell for leather punk rock n' roll up and down the UK. Their involvement in I Hate The Kids, Rip This Joint, This Is DIY, USA Nails, Dead Arms, Shitwife, Lupins, Bear Bites Horse Studio and most recently Hominid Sounds, has helped to define their reputation as an integral part of London's DIY underground community, whilst also establishing themselves as an aggressive, adrenaline fueled, must-see live band. They released their first album The Carvery in 2013. Their second LP, Meat House, a fevered speedball of scatter-shot riffs, distorted vocals and pummeling rhythms, sees them develop new influences such as Metz and The Men, as well as contemporaries within the London community, such as Luminous Bodies, USA Nails and Henry Blacker. Death Pedals take the punk rock n' roll blueprint of their debut album and crank it up to ear-bleeding new levels on Meat House. It's their frenetic balls-to-the-floor live show writ large across wax and the consolidation of their position as London's finest DIY noise merchants.
