Reissue, originally released in 1992. Influential Los Angeles-based doom metal group Saint Vitus was formed in 1979, with Black Sabbath and Black Flag noteworthy references. Seventh album C.O.D., from 1992, made former Count Raven frontman Christian Lindersson lead vocalist, the guitars now texturally layered, and the drums bathed in heavy reverb, hearkening older styles of metal. Overall, it's a testament to underachieves and burnouts everywhere, directly addressing their fans as the "Children of Doom" of the title. This is an underrated album for all discerning doom metal lovers, and unmissable for those who seek a fuller understanding of Saint Vitus' progression. Color vinyl.

Reissue, originally released in 2013. Chicago's Broken Hope shook up the US death metal scene with a series of transitional releases, during a time when the genre was shifting from the styles of old vanguards to themes of heavy gore, with a matching visual aesthetic. Sixth album, Omen Of Disease, was the sole LP to feature Gorgasm's Tom Leski on vocals, with new drummer Mike Miczek and guitarist Chuck Wepfer of the Rise & Fall joining mainstays Jeremy Wagner and Shaun Glass for gloriously gory excursions. High-speed guitar blasts galore and a few slam elements, along with sci-fi synth interludes. Brutally excellent -- and not for the faint-hearted! Includes two bonus tracks. Color vinyl.

Reissue, originally released in 1989. Featuring one of the most iconic personalities in the extreme metal world, Dan Lilker (bassist for Nuclear Assault, Anthrax, SOD, Brutal Truth, to name but a few) on drums, Extra Hot Sauce's Taco of Death was a one-off album of 100%-fun, old school grindcore, somewhere between Lawnmower Deth and Spazztic Blur. 14 hyper-short, demented HC/grind gasps, including cover versions of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Lynyrd Skynyrd songs, squeezed down to less than 30 seconds. Originally out on the legendary Peaceville label, it was about time for a vinyl reissue of this forgotten grindcore classic! Red vinyl with OBI strip.
