"KarateKlub surprises with huge tracks from Jenn, fantastically remixed by Rebekah (Criminal/UK). With Cheeky, Jenn presents a groovy and much more minimal side than we heard on her last EP. Surprising and reduced, her sound loops up and down, embedded in a clonky bass drum structure. The remix, made by Rebekah, who is well known from her releases on Criminal Records, is just fantastic and completes the EP brilliantly. She designed a huge groove and pushed it forward. By adding her ideas she creates an excellent new track. The 'Interface' original is specified by stomping and jigging beats, which are interspersed with smooth voices and melodies, before they are pushed up again. These girls have it and paint the town red!"

"The Karateklub's girl debuts with a marvelous remix by Simon Baker. This is really fresh and current! Jenn presents the next step of minimal techno. An elegant mixture of vocal parts, nice, floating melodies with a strong groovy beat! Not only a pleasure for girls, but for boys too. Simon Baker's club hit 'Plastik' is still beloved on the decks around the world and was heavily supported & played by Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Väth and Richie Hawtin. His remix is a sexy, hip and current house version of 'Pleasure.'"

"Oscar presents three melodic open-air smashers -- for those who know! His last EP on KarateKlub three months ago got massive support and plays from DJs all over the world! So here we go with the follow-up: 'Creep Speed' is a straight hammered track with crispy, pushing claps and neotrance influences, made for the peaktime of the night. It takes you on a long journey with uplifting breaks and kicks you like a caffeine flash! On the flip, you'll find 'Suspense' and 'Red Fashion.' Both tracks are made with nice playful synthlines which warms up your heart, but still techno!"

"KarateKlub throws the next bomb! Blood & Tears alias Marco Danneberg is formerly known for his hard-techno productions. This powerful 5 (!) track EP sounds like a fresh mixture somewhere between Plastikman and Chris Liebing: a pumping bassdrum meets tweaky bleeps at 128 BPM! Brian Sanhaji from Enable Records transforms the 'Post Metrom' to his kind of measures. An incredible remix, that fits terrific to the original tracks."

"Big hit! Stunning minimal techno from Berlin's underground producer scene! The Supdub label owner and Berlin-based techno activists Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner, have already released numerous tracks and remixes on labels like Lordag, Supdub, Tonkonsum, Römer and freshly squeezed: KarateKlub! 'Violet Rain' on the A-side is a deep groovin' track with melancholic atmosphere rounded up with an amazing pumping bassline. On the flip 'Drop to the Warm Ground' is a funky and intense track accented with bleepy textures. For peak time play, no question about it! 'Under the Water Surface' starts with a smooth beat combined with nice melodic elements. But after the break: a dirty and pushing bass line rolls over the whole track -- the monster awakes and send the dancing crowd to the moon and back!"

"Here it is: the follow up to the amazing 12" series Fetenhits Für Fortgeschrittene! On the third part Oscar hits you again with a funky, deep flow to make you bounce. The first track 'I Can't Anymore' tells a story everybody knows. It takes you on a long journey through moving chords and straight to your face vocals. The flipside starts with a remix from Davis & May (Maripoza). A great masterpiece of music somewhere between James Holden and Stephan Bodzin. The second strike on this side is 'Needles.' It's peppered with fresh-flavored ingredients, cut ups, spanking claps, distorted hi-hats, a driving arrangement and an awesome melody which makes us dance, dance, dance..."

"What a bassline! Both tracks will push you through walls -- amazing! Aldenta is a hypnotic stomper with incredible loops and bleeps, for all fans of Cadenza and all that stuff! Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner (remember: 'you are i' on Supdub) give their best to let the people freak out on the dancefloor -- what should I say -- they did it! 'Pergolia' is a huge soundmonster which blows your mind away, but don't forget to listen to the Oscar remix!"

"Finest Detroit-influenced minimal techno tracks produced by Björn Stolpmann from Onitor/Kailash/Tongut! Including Ivo 'he's a dancing machine' Deutschmann remix! 'Since I Began To Be' is a huge techno stomper with deep freakin' sounds. After a little break Björn shows us his interpretation of acoustic weapons for the dancefloor! Ivo Deutschmann did a great remix job of the main song. On the flipside, you will find two excellent and beautiful rocking tracks but more minimal. Karateklub welcomes Björn Stolpmann!"
