French label extraordinaire Kitsuné releases Kitsuné Parisien II, a colorful and exciting collection of tracks from the latest emerging bands and acts on the vibrant Parisian scene(s) and beyond. Rich from its experience and contacts, Kitsuné -- a great Parisian export -- is, of course, well-placed to encounter the new breed and single out talented hopefuls. This is precisely what the Parisien series aims to do, gather and present to the world some of the romantic city's freshest players, whether they rehearse in damp cellars, compose on their laptop in the kitchen or record in state-of-the-art home-studios. Of course, it's not just about Paris, as a few artists here don't actually live in the capital, but they're all French and have a Parisian connection going (not least for having been welcomed in the extended Kitsuné family). Covering the many bases of electro-pop, indie-dance and everything in between, Parisien II -- selected by Kitsuné chef Gildas Loaëc and designed by night bird/graffiti artist André -- offers a lively snapshot of what is cooking up for 2012 in Paris and further afield. Artists include: Tomorrow's World, Juveniles, Owlle, LESCOP, About The Girl, Nameless, Birkii, BeatauCue, We Are Knights, Wolfpack Beartrack, Slowdance, Exotica, LA//KVLKD and Pyramid.

Here is Kitsuné's 11th Maison compilation, taking one more step towards maturity. While Kitsuné is perceived as somewhat of a club label, really they have always resided somewhere between "club" and "indie." This new compilation sits right at the crossroads of the two. As label-head Gildas Loaec explains: "I find the combination of guitars and electronics is one of the most exciting areas in music today." Kitsuné has always supported this fusion and believed a good part of the future will come from that. So here's Kitsuné's selection of what's best in the genre at the moment. Artists include: Alexander Dexter Jones, Housse De Racket, Polarsets, Gallops, Cosmonaut, Creep, Azari & III, Is Tropical, Peter & The Magician, The Touch, Logo X Icona Pop, Beat Connection, Nightbox, Guards, Fiction and Exotica.

This new Kitsuné compilation is called Kitsuné Parisien, which should speak for itself -- in French. Kitsuné Parisien officially digs out the next breed of Parisian acts, exposing the new crop of French Touch. Selected by label head-honcho Gildas Loaëc and international party hopper/artist "André" Saraiva, it showcases the cream of the new Parisian music scene. Indeed, these two know a thing or two about Paris and music: Loaëc was Daft Punk's right-hand man for 15 years before founding Kitsuné, whereas André, having long tagged his "Monsieur A" over the capital's walls, always welcomes up-and-coming bands and DJs in his various clubs, which in return have become essential platforms for new local talents to emerge. Kitsuné Parisien is also a unique store in the heart of Paris whose frontage was also designed by André. Kitsuné Parisien includes each season of fine and fancy collector's items, high-quality garments and of course, CDs and records. On the occasion of the compilation's release, many items have been made in collaboration with André -- including a leather jacket, boxer shorts and T-shirts. "La boucle est bouclée," (trans. "It has all come full circle") as they say in France. Artists on this compilation include: Destin, Birkii, Yann Wagner, Housse De Racket, Golden Bug, Jupiter, Logo, Ryskee (feat. Jenny Wilson), Jamaica's Sunshine, Beataucue, Sauvage, Valley, Exotica and Cascadeur.

Here is the eighth Kitsuné Maison compilation -- the "Chic and Nice" issue. The French indie-dance label mobilizes all their most passionate and exciting musical friends for this brilliant eighth edition. Two Door Cinema Club and Delphic are the latest additions to the Kitsuné family, and their respective debut albums are forthcoming on Kitsuné. It was a two-month listening marathon of sorts for this edition in Kitsuné's Montmartre offices... and everywhere else for that matter. This volume is even more of a world tour: there's vocals in French and Japanese, and releases by Finnish, Swedish and German artists -- basically everyone's invited. Heartsrevolution, Slagsmålsklubben, Beni, Chew Lips and Crystal Fighters will all also have their tracks out as singles on Kitsuné. This is the perfect mix of fashion-forward, upbeat, international pop that will cause ears to prick forward in hotly-buzzed anticipation. Other artists include French Horn Rebellion, The Drums, Siriusmo, Le Corps Mince De Francoise, Midnight Juggernauts, Logo, Moulinex, Harvard Bass, AMWE, Jolie Cherie, Alex Kapranos, Memory Tapes, Parallels, Nottee, and My Tiger My Timing.
