Fabric resident Jay Clarke returns to Klockworks for his second solo release on the label following his EP in 2016 and his contribution to the Klockworks 20 compilation "Perdita". Through this new 12-inch, he presents a mix of tough modern rollers, dreamy Detroit melodies, and mysterious atmospheres. With tracks like "In Dreams", the UK producer creates cinematic aesthetics that he draws from David Lynch movies. "The Cage" and "Visualise" both represent Jay experimenting with a new way of working, using sequencers and chopped up and pitched down D&B samples. It's no surprise these cuts have been Ben Klock's secret weapons during the summer season to tear apart the most iconic dance floors such as Berghain, Printworks, and Time Warp.
