LLFO 022EP
|
LLFO presents another exceptional split EP, this time including tracks from Christian Burkhardt and Daniel Roth. Christian opens the release with his brilliant contribution "Body," featuring the mysterious C'mone. "Body" is a deep and organic piece of extensive drum patterns, analog bass madness and haunting sample bits. Soon, a deep and enthralling acid bass line drops into the atmosphere. Daniel Roth delivers a superb B-side track which can be briefly described as "hypnotizing." He chose classy drums, rare vocal samples and quirky sounds for an easy but effective after-hour piece. This one is definitely a secret weapon.

"Love Letters From Oslo presents with their 10th release a very special producer. DJ W!LD, who is also owner from Catwash, has a lot of releases and remixes around already. Now with La Cigogne, he starts his contribution to the sublabel from Oslo. On the A-side we have a house track called 'Goiabada,' which the people will love because of the '80s touch. On the B-side we have 'La Cigogne' and 'Roumaniaque.' Both tracks are very fine house tools and absolutely dancefloor orientated. Welcome DJ W!ld!"

"With 'Symphony Of Bliss' by Martinez, the OSLO sublabel presents an EP as hot as the upcoming summer weeks. The A-Side starts with 'Symphony Of Bliss,' a housey peak time track, that's going to lift the spirits on every summer rave dancefloor, emotional fireworks included. On the flip side, a typical Martinez monster-of-percussion is waiting to devour the crowd. Sneaking, filtered monotony at its best. An extraordinary EP!"

"Minimono delights us once again with two new refreshing tracks. 'Stay Away' is a typical Minimono track, with playful cartoon-like sounds, the aesthetics of minimal and a housy groove. Sounds like fun, huh? In contrast 'El Guapo' could be interpreted as deephouse, but the snappy beats keep your feet moving while the chord-like sounds make you want to close your eyes and just drift away."

"The Iranian Nima Gorji presents a deep and driving 9-minute house track, called 'I Got Something.' With its special dynamics, intelligent arrangement and its special atmosphere, it's a hypnotizing DJ tool. On the flip side, Einzelkind aka Miguel Ayala and Arno Völker deconstruct the atmosphere of their track 'El Pianucho' and create a sound pattern that with every running minute, creates more tension by slowly building up until the peak. Modern house, as we like it."
