BillyonAir presents some dub-influenced techno tracks for Mainakustik. On "Flying North" cold and spheric sounds combine with the right amount of melodies. Martin Woerner remixes "Where Am I," a nice, pumping track that'll slam dancefloors. On "Klain Main" strange chord sounds meet nice grooves. Finally, the original mix of "Where Am I" is deepest melodic dub-techno. Release comes on green-colored vinyl.

This is volume1 of Mainkollektiv -- based on an artist collective formed in Offenbach am Main in late 2011. All of the artists backing the project have built their lives around music. Working variously as record store owners, party organizers, producers, DJs or label owners, loving music is what drives them each and every day. On the first EP for Mainakustik you will find special cuts by Frank Leicher, Danjel Esperanza, Wigbert and Candy Csonka.

Wigbert Franze from Offenbach, Germany, is not exactly a new face on the scene. He has already released several productions under his Jon May pseudonym. With his new moniker Wigbert, he's back stronger then ever. "Feeling" is an epic journey with a big two-minute break, nice pianos, rave signals and Wigbert's own modulated voice. "Unreachable" is a dark, stompin' "knarz" techno track. Last but not least, Basti Grub remixes "Feeling" in his typical groovy style. Pressed on clear blue vinyl.

Mainakustik presents Paride Saraceni, from Italy, who's living in London right now. He delivered two melodic techno biggies for the floors. The title track is a warm, melodic tune, perfect for the late hours. "Dreaming Tomorrow" is more danceable and floor-oriented. Remixes come from Legowelt, whose version sounds like a space journey, and Daniel Mehlhart. On orange vinyl.

Mainakustik presents another edition in their stamp series with tracks from Fausto Messina & Vicente, Giovanni Damico, Die Haustiere, and promising Italian artist Edward, who opens the release with his own understanding of modern house music. Damico's track is a pure floor-stomper with its low basslines and groovy percussions. Messina and Vincente collaborate with a cool, percussive peak-time monster. Finally, Die Haustiere offers yet another track that perfectly encapsulates the Mainakustik sound. Limited to 300 copies stamped series.

"After a long break Mainakustik is back with a strong two tracker produced by Matt Brown from Italy. He's allready known from various releases on imprints like EinMalEins, Below, and more. Side A 'Balancoire' is a great starter with groovy trumpet samples and warm driving basslines. Side B 'Moneare' comes around with a hypnotic percussion rhythm. After a while the bass drum gets in and the dancers freak out. Just try it -- 2 excellent functional tools for the dancefloors!"
