Hungarian producer Giash presents the Sen_d_Ingo EP. "Brunc_hc-_h" gives you the first shot of underscores and a high dosage of machine funk minimalism. It's a full on/slow-mo industrial churning groover with sci-fi licks and lush pads work. "Imagin__ary" is deep minimalism at the highest level. It's a great mixture of new and old as far as reduced jacking grooves are concerned. Over 13 minutes of dark and hypnotic beauty, the tripped-out grooves of "Sen_d_ingo" is crunchy and punchy with wiggle-some broken rhythms, some subtle synth variations, and deep atmospherics.

Metroline Limited's first Positive Contribution is a tasty four-tracker that focuses on the deep and minimalistic end of house music. Berlin-based French producer Hamid offers "Unterdrücken" made of bleeps, squelchy acid b-line, pads, and crisp drums. Octad takes control and delivers a hot bassline for "Checkmated". Dhaze and Phiorio follow with "NT", a deep and rolling track with a monster groove, lush pads, and dubbed-out elements. Gabriele Mancino's "Cheddar, Lion & Lamb" pays tribute both to a London trip and old Perlon releases -- an ultra-groovy and playful minimal house number with funk and style.

A collaborative release between the two men behind the label: Andrea and Gianpiero, aka Octad and Phiorio. "Missing Bits" has Octad's trademark minimal groove with hissing hats and a huge sub bass. "Synopsis Of 8" keeps the A side's atmosphere dark with a solid machine funk and spooky techno number. Phiorio takes control of B side with the opening track "Icarus", bizarre and experimental techno with an intricate groove, shuffled-up hats, an ever-flowing modular bass, and a cut-up vocal. "Organs" is more of a straight-up modern deep house number with a killer groove, big bass, and interesting pads.

In his first release for Metroline Limited, Counrad showcases the full spectrum of his versatile production skills. The title track "Underwater" is a full on 15 minutes epic chunky minimal monster that just keeps on building. This amazing piece of work takes the listener on a journey that starts with hypnotic minimalism and finishes with some intricate trippy techno. On the flipside, is the dark and percussive peak time tech-house grooves of "Particle Collisions" and some uber-cool modern machine funk minimalism in the shape of "Synapse".

Italian producer Dhaze has released on Amam, Little Helpers, Bla Bla, Body Parts, Inmotion, and more. Opener "Subatomic Pussy" is dark and disorienting, with drum patters, crispy hats, and some crazy cavernous Green Velvet-esque vocal snippets. "Waterdrip" is a relentless groovy monster, one for the darkest moments of a tech-house set. Spanish producer Medu follows productions on Dissonant and Wavetech Limited with a remix of "Subatomic Pussy," stripping it down and recreating a similarly hypnotic and driving peak-time techno number. Closer "Hardware in Love" combines a synth bassline with aquatic drums and a squelchy modulated synth.

A tight kick leads the way on "Off the Grid," with the help of a pulsating bass and some lush pads in typical Doubtingthomas style. The "off" moment happens after when the free jazz element comes in and shuffles the groove. "Cognitive Dissonance" brings more ghost-in-the-box pads, with arpeggio synths, tight drum work, and a pitched down/warped down glacial female vocal to add the right amount of spookiness. Cristi Cons does what he does best in his 12-minute rework of "Cognitive Dissonance," keeping the pressure is at the tipping point with a huge groove and clever editing.

Clio is back on Metroline. In the opening track, "The Beautiful Forces," Blade Runner soundscapes morph into post-rave stabs and combine with heavy subs and sci-fi effects to create the soundtrack to a rave in an abandoned space station. On a more Chicago tip, "Something Like That" is a collaboration with French groove master, Loquace. The result is a loose, flowing house jam. Thomas Schumacher turns out a serious burner on the flip with his remix of "The Beautiful Forces," bringing the vocals up in the mix. Yvan Genkins takes on marginalizing the Chi-town flavor of the original and working the elements up into an eyes-down Tresor-style techno monster.

This is Phiorio's debut on Metroline Limited. The choice of remixers here include in-demand French producer Doubtingthomas and the super-hot up-and-coming Russian producers Adjustment Bureau. Opening track "Ninja Cat" is a deep and quirky number. The groove is tight with heavy drums and crisp percussion. An acid b-line leads the way while atmospherics pop in and out until an off-key synth appears and adds a level of spookiness to the proceedings. "Superpupider" is a no-nonsense, straight-up dark and dirty techno tool. It's all about the groove with this track, and the drums lead the way with a clever use of filtered hats and percussion.

Quickly making his mark on the techno scene, Romania's Plusculaar has one of the most unique styles in the game -- his intriguingly complex and intricate rhythms stand out on any dancefloor. "Un Pic" is a powerful factory floor groove that comes with a nasty little bass growl and pulsing Motor City synth stabs. "Go Find Yourself" features a fluid, morphing structure that makes rhythms out of melodies and melodies out of rhythms. Fellow Romanian Ada Kaleh turns in a focused rework of "To Chew Your Teeth," boasting some brilliant EQing that gives the mix real movement and groove.

East End Dubs delivers a surgical strike on this Metroline four-track release. "Summa Dis" hits us with a top-drawer Chi Town bass line, while "Argo" brings together bruising on-beat bass hits, and skittish perc elements that cut like a razor. Clever EQ-riding, and some sexy French vox give the track depth. Snilloc takes remixing duties on "Summa Dis," twisting the original into a track pounder, and finally we end up in the once-fashionable "Hoxton," while has a ghostly, nostalgic quality.

Elon make with the DIY vibes on this smart EP. On the title-track sharp cuts, tight bursts of sound and loose percussion combine into a complex rhythm. Jazz breaks hit the speakers with "Got Ya, Tiger!" Alex Celler's "Broken Circuit Dub" of "Got Ya, Tiger!" ramps it up a notch. All those bruising elements are still there, but the guy grinds those jazz breaks up in his big metal jaws and spits out a gobful of twisted future.

Maurizio Vitiello is back with a vengeance. Smooth keys bounce over rolling breaks and a wideboy bass line on "Sirio B." "Wishing Well" brings more of the tribal house flavor, but with more pump and more grit in the mix. Martin Eyerer takes on "Sirio B" on the flip, raising the kicks in the mix and adding Chi-town bass vibes and a big old techno synth line. "Back Again" is a driving blend of old school percussion, rolling bass and traffic light keys.

Martin Eyerer presents a release for Metroline Limited. After a mutual appreciation that grew stronger after Martin started supporting a few Metroline and Retrometro tracks in his DJ sets and radio shows, a remix request was followed by the delivery of a track: "The Coronator." Over at Metroline HQ, they liked the track so much that label owners Octad and Phiorio decided to take up the remix duties themselves. Also involved is Japanese deep house talent Yoshitaca.

Clio brings it for Metroline. "Poem" does "big" the George Clinton way. Basslines cranked to "funk," tempo raised, and drum tracks set to "attack." Sparse percussion gives "Do It" an entirely different feel, but it's also fired by a growling sub-bass. Killer. Carlo Lio's remix of "Do It" thunders along, built for dancefloor shock and awe. Sasch BBC & Caspar go intergalactic on their rework of "Poem." This is the tune that plays in Hal 9000's head.

Maurizio Vitiello returns to Metroline with some seriously deep bass-driven techno. The lead track is a driving, stripped-down techno groove. "Looking Good" keeps that groove going with a bass line so heavy you'll have to pick yourself up off the floor. On "Movers," Maurizio lets the drums do the talking. "Pleased" is going to set the summer floors on fire. Vocal samples weave in and out of the mix, and sharp-as-a-needle '80s-tinged synths stab through the deep, heavy rhythm track.

This killer EP from Samuel Dan starts with massive sample loops custom-made to keep those hands in the air. An infectious, bouncing bassline ebbs and flows through the track, while the tight percussion keeps those feet pounding the floor. Octad & Phiorio's remix is stripped-down and funked up. Like a prime Larry Levan cut, funk, disco and house collide but without the mix ever becoming cluttered. The floor-filling "Back Home" features immense builds and eminently catchy hooks guaranteed to spread smiles.

Fog presents an excellent EP for Metroline. "Diggler's Job" is a breezy house number with pimping keys and a beautiful bass bounce. There's plenty of movement in the percussion and a light touch that just begs for summer to come. "Shout Romance" is a shade tougher with its up-front kicks and acid-tinged bass line. It has slow burn intensity that is nicely counterbalanced by smooth, reverb-soaked vintage synths. The Jackspot remix really brings out the funk in those synths.

SeHou provides a prime piece of forward-looking nostalgia for Metroline. The brutal bass groove of "Cirkus" calls to mind classic-era R&S -- its choppy vocals and skittering percussion give the track a raw funk, while its smooth pads add a reassuring, warm flow. "Untitled To Her" is a relentless Robert Armani-style workout, with a hint of Chi-Town bubble and funk. Cristi Cons aka Case Sensitive's interpretation is a gloriously meandering, fluid rework with subterranean bass bumps and heavily-filtered synths.

Elon presents "Clap Back" -- an absolute gem. The original mix is spacious and airy and allows the echo-soaked toms and the swirling vox stabs to breathe. An insistent bass pulse provides a structure for the post-garage percussion to build into a lurching rhythm. Ekkohaus' remix is a deep house groove shaped around lush stabs and heavily-filtered synths. "Zero Gravity" features a Rhodes-like synth line that wraps itself round the track like a warm, fuzzy blanket. Maximum comfort for house-heads.

Big room Ibiza vibes abound on this killer EP from Solead. On "Musica," tumbling beats and a mélange of Cuban pianos, horns and flutes play over very robust rhythms to create an atmospheric big room builder. "Wander" keeps the pace going, this time with more expansive vocals and some ridiculously catchy whistling. Okain sexes things up a bit on his remix, and "Slip Into" is a tough club track with serious energy.

Impeccable minimal techno from Russia's Suokas featuring Jorge Savoretti on remix duty. Savoretti's remix emphasizes the solid structure of the original and adds a little Argentinian flavor with spring-loaded claps that sit right in the front of the mix. Listening to "Shivers" is like being chased through a dark forest at night -- it's tense and full of nervous little noises. Sounds fire off in all directions while bass lines keep things moving forward.

Rome's Diego Capri and Andrea Gentile return with two more slices of bass-heavy minimal techno. "Smoker" is a mean builder of a track. A tight, solid kick and bass arrangement keeps the delay-soaked percussion in check. "Writer" is a dark slab of industrial dub. Machine noises crackle and grind, creating intricate rhythms until the lead synth drives the track forward. The Agaric remix takes things in a much more solid techno direction -- an intense and constantly evolving tech-funk marathon.

Metroline Limited presents their debut vinyl release: a solid 4-tracker by Berlin-based producer Mike Wall. "Loose Changes" fuses elements of Sähkö-esque minimalism with jacking percussion and synth stabs to create a unique soundscape. "Fonokult" is more playful with a warmer feel and uplifting percussion loops, and the Skoozbot remix quickly turns into a floor-filler. "The Swan" presents solid beats to create an intense pounder: there's even a huge snare roll hidden in there for those who miss the 1990s.
