MONTAGE 004EP
Swedish producer Hans Berg returns to Pooledmusic's techno-focused sister imprint Montage with another collection of uniquely esoteric techno. Known for previous work on Kant and collaborations with Johanna Knutsson, Berg debuted on the label in 2015 with the Field EP (MONTAGE 002EP). His second outing once again provides another showcase for his intriguing rhythmic sensibilities and pleasingly askew take on the classic techno sound palette. The EP is completed by another heads-down burner of a remix from Silvershower, aka label boss Ian Pooley.

MONTAGE 003EP
The third release on Pooledmusic's techno-focused sister imprint, Montage, features Silvershower's Ice Fractions 1 (1996), the debut release of Ian Pooley's techno alias. The original Ice Fractions 1 arrived on Plus 8 Records showcased a tougher edge to Pooley's productions. In 2016, Pooley is still maintaining his high standards, revisiting and updating past work in the form of reissues & remixes and issuing fresh original material such. This new edition of the Ice Fractions 12" supplies the two original lead tracks and a 2016 remix of each by Pooley himself.

MONTAGE 002EP
Ian Pooley's techno label Montage follows up the 2015 inaugural release from his Silvershower alias (MONTAGE 001EP) by handing a label debut to Swedish producer Hans Berg (Kant, Johanna Knutsson). "Field" employs an elastic bassline that recalls some of the more dancefloor-focused workings of UK producers such as Four Tet and Joy Orbison, while "Polar" sees the Swede head in a more stargazing direction, its trance-like melodies cloaking a sturdy backbone. Pooley's Silvershower alias rounds out the 12" with a darker take on "Field," pinning the original's bassline to its heavy kick, ride, and claps for a powerful techno roller.

MONTAGE 001EP
Ian Pooley initiates his techno label Montage by resurrecting his Silvershower alias. Best known for a pair of 12"s released on Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 in 1996 (with a further EP (PLUS 8116EP) released on the same label in 2011), Silvershower has long been Pooley's preferred alias for his tougher, darker records. Following a great Berghain gig as Silvershower in 2013, Pooley decided the next step was to create an outlet for more original productions under the name, the first of which is the Damaged EP: three tracks combining a tougher intensity with Pooley's usual adeptness for dancefloor grooves.
