"On this second episode, muLti vitAmins offers 4 tracks from four different artists, presenting the newcomer Japanese producer Den and highlighting the creative developments of the label's seminal figures Katzo Ekkohaus and Sebastian Russell. 'Den's Party' with Orange Juice opens the games with a well defined four to the floor beat, garnished by samples from every day life electronic gadgets, joining together for a minimal funk feast. The only source of warmth comes from a jazzy keyboard/chord sweetening up the micro-chirurgical feel through the song. Katzo's 'Impets' is a mental excursion through undiscovered dub territories and various grooves with deep elements, rich with chasing drum patterns, vibrations and submarine sonic elements. Ekkohaus' surprise is called 'Daredevil,' a glitchy tune characterized by exploiting a synth patch to its limits. This track emerges with a storming, electrifying techno sound, capable of bringing to life anyone on the dance-floor by the intensity of the bass line, the flangers and the snares' ice-metallic effects. Sebastian Russell confirms his playful and unique approach to dance music. The catchy interaction between the bass line and the scratchy melody generates happy-party sensations to the listener."

"Multi Vitamins gives birth to its third baby, MV 03: 4 tracks, 2 brains, conceiving some of the freshest and most forward thinking expressions in nowadays electronic dance music. Sebastian Russell leads you to some exotic, fascinating and still dopey territories. Den adds some Japanese folk to his cyber-minimal style. Sebastian's 'Misbehave' breaks in with a reverberating crash and a rapping sample. To follow, while a low-fi soul penetrating bassline keeps the hips shaking, the combination of twisted mechanics, computer sounds with thirst-quenching vocals creates a mixed effect of drunkenness and sensuality. Sebastian's fusion of contrasting elements follows with 'Tiny Chinese Squid,' where the warm melody of a canang ibu (traditional Malaysian instrument) floats over a line of raw funked-up drums."

"The first release from the muLti vitAmins label features Ekkohaus, Katzo, Mark-Henning and Sebastian Russell, whose contributions range from warm up-beats to dance floor based minimal tracks. Mark-Henning kicks off with 'Token Node.' An inviting, deep track with catchy grooves, slick bass stubs and a hypnotising chord that shifts along the track. Katzo delivers an up-tempo yet dark and hypnotic minimal production, full of rhythmic variations and short edits. Katzo's world lies somewhere, between deep dub and minimal techno. On the flip side, Sebastian Russell, surprises us with his minimal funk, full of clicks and edits, clever chords and deep bass lines accompanied by Charles Bukowski's poem. Some of Bruce Nauman's most disturbing video pieces inspired Ekkohaus to produce 'Kill Bruce Nauman' with weird vocal samples, staccato snares, dubby pads, quirky sounds and a minimalist structure."
