Camea's NAF 97 EP pays homage to her hometown Seattle's original underground rave warehouse, NAF Studios. It's also where Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" video was filmed and is now, ironically, a Catholic publishing house. The hedonistic venue is legendary to those who took a chance on an emerging new electronic music scene. Both originals reflect the raw warehouse vibe of this era, and Matrixxman and Markus Suckut have weighed in with heavy remixes. Markus puts his signature on the "NAF 97" original with a deep space atmospheric techno banger, and Matrixxman reworks the original 303 recordings in "Jack U".

Camea returns with the third release on her Neverwhere imprint, Vanish. Camea not only captures a timeless micro-house vibe in "Vanish", but she continues to push her sound forward. Up next is Delft imprint boss LA-4A lays down an irresistible 303 break-beat club mix of "Vanish". His dance cut of her vocals over bass driven percussion is a perfect counter piece to the original. Berlin techno legend and Ostgut Ton/Berghain resident Tobias. gives his graceful interpretation. He has reworked the original into a tasteful, dark, spacious eight-minute minimal techno piece, with percolating panning and filters on the vocals.

Camea returns with the second release on her Neverwhere imprint, Signs. Made for the stars, she has also invited two great producers, Ian Pooley (Innervisions, Pooled Music) and André Kronert (Figure, Stockholm LTD) for remixes. As usual with Camea, she likes to seek all of the beautiful things in between, and this EP covers the spectrum from a magical sunrise to a dark, pulsing rave cave.
