"Milan-based friends Matteo MIlleri & The Selph present their debut EP for Off Recordings. And it's a debut to watch as those guys may be young in age but very talented. 'Remembrance' is a peaktime house tool with an anthemic organ line, uplifting vocals, a tight groove and an epic arrangement, perfect for rocking the dancefloor in the middle of the night. Mobilee's Marcin Czubala delivers a more laidback interpretation in his unique style, building a deep groove and combining elements of the original with great new samples to create a quirky track perfect for the earlier or later hours of the night. 'Midnight Rims' is a completely different affair, a techhouse-tool stripped down to the essence for all lovers of minimalistic groovebombs. The EP is completed by 'Mornin' Mist,' an atmospheric deephouse groover based on soulful chords and vocals."

"Tool alert! Manu-L & Paul Cart deliver three original tracks 100% aimed at the dancefloor. 'Keep On' is a rough old-schoolish peaktime rocker, with a massive bassline and catchy vocal; drop this in your set and be sure to get the dancefloor go wild... 'Babajee' is a more emotional, soulful percussive track, with extremely catchy vocals; perfect for the later hours of the night, a beautiful memory of the gone summer. Maybe the most particular track of the pack is 'Multicolours,' a quirky groovetool with fresh and original sounds. Nima Gorji delivers a deep techy interpretation of 'Multicolours,' completing the package in the perfect way."

"After delivering two much loved and played EPs for OFF Recordings, labelmanager Andre Crom and Milan's Luca Doobie return with a stunning EP. Got You There is just what the description 'peaktime-anthem' has been invented for: a highly catchy vocal hook on top of a rock-solid kick and 90ies-organ-bassline groove, supplemented by rave-chord-stabs and driving Chicago-ish grooves on top. And a break that you should need a weapons license for. 'Snake Seven' is a more subtle and moody affair with a dark groove, freaky vocals and a jazzy bassline and theme loop. The vinyl is completed by a remix of French underground legend Chris Carrier who delivers a great toolish and extremely groovy interpretation of 'Snake Seven.' Stripped down, all about a strong bassline groove and with dry instrument and vocal stabs from the original, this is a timeless tool perfect for house and techno sets alike."

"For Get On A Freak M.in (still well-known from his incredibly successful New Orleans EP on OFF004) and his friend Ben Anders team up to deliver a freaky, funky and veeery groovy cut of jacking house. One of the few tracks who manage combining 100% dancefloor focus with a really original sounddesign. 'Booty' is a straightforward summer hit, driving grooves on to a rock-solid kick, garnered with soulful vocals, uplifting keys and those incredibly catchy strings in the break. 'Bell Bala,' fits very well to Booty, also featuring a melancholic summery guitar theme on top of a strong groove, perfect to celebrate the last sunny open airs before the long and cold winter returns. The Jacuzzi Boys deliver a deeper and more bass-focused interpretation of 'Bell Bala,' perfect for the earlier or later hours of a set."

"Known by releases on labels as Thirty One Twenty, his own District Raw, OFF001 and his recent hit Growing on Supplement Facts, young Italian Fabio Giannelli presents his next strike for OFF! A1 is for sure the deepest A-side the label has seen so far, a unique and moody slice of oldschool-ish deephouse with a great sound design and soulful synth-voice pads. On 'Crossline,' Fabio stays true to his string tradition of driving techhouse-tracks, a sure peaktime-dancefloor-mover. Einzelkind deliver a great interpretation of '100 Years Later,' deep but driving at the same time, looping a vocal slice over and over and using the synth-voice of the original as a driving rave-signal sound, all in their trademark outstanding sound quality. 'Channel Strip' completes the vinyl as a deep groove-tool with a cool atmosphere, perfect for the earlier or later hours of the night. Düsseldorf-based DJ, producer and promoter Cess created a deep remix of '100 Years Later' with an organic, warm and sophisticated groove, an endless trippy tool topped by the organ and vocal samples of the original."

"Already known for releasing a successful EP on Einmaleins Musik, Jamy Wing is a sympathetic young DJ and producer based in Jena and well connected to the scene of the area. Artists like Mathias Kaden, Daniel Stefanik, and many more are his supporters, playing many of his productions including those on this EP. Besides releasing his own music, he's also a resident at such respected places as the Manga club in Jena and has played guest gigs including at Berlin's famous Watergate cCub. 'Que Pasa' features a woofer-shaking bass line, a deep groove and subtle vocal and nature samples, slowly building before dropping in a killer saxophone line that will send dancefloors into a frenzy. 'Go Away' is the perfect counterpart: a deep and twisted groove-tool with a very catchy bass line -- perfect for wasted afterhours at your favorite club."

"Recorded with members of Grandaddy, Quasi, Sleater-Kinney and Pond, Mr. Campbell's knack for creating otherworldly, orchestral psych is truly unmatched. Recalling The Grifters' perverse soul, the sad pop aspects of Sparklehorse and Grandaddy, an overall vibe of someone who's losing it à la Skip Spence, and happily in the shadow of the Pet Sounds legacy, Goldcard is truly a beautiful piece of work over which fans of mysterious, innovative pop music will drop to their knees."
