Double-LP version. Yuksek unveils his new album featuring a bunch of France's finest artists on collaboration duties. This fourth album marks a turning point, that of independence and letting go. For three years, Yuksek has experimented, collaborated with many artists for no other purpose than shared pleasure. Nosso Ritmo is probably his most natural album, the one that sprang up by itself. At the release of his third album Nous Horizon (FINE 032CD/LP, 2017), Yuksek announced that it would surely be the last, tired of the music system, of touring. But then the desire came back with a return to the sources: DJing and music for dancing. The Latin, Brazilian influence is very clear in his DJ sets, and his collaborations with Fatnotronic (Philippi & Rodrigo) as well as with Processman and his tribute to Hélio Matheus (Mais Kriola) confirm on this album this taste for the Brazilian sound and the richness of its disco and pop scene of the '70s and '80s (Marcos Valle, Gilberto Gil, Di Melo...) For some, Nosso Ritmo will also sound more Anglo-Saxon than the previous ones, perhaps by his uninhibited and more instinctive approach, by his direct filiation with artists such as Sylvester (on "Into The Light" sung by Isaac Delusion) or his tributes to some '90s dirty house sound with "G.F.Y." (sung by Queen Rose), "This Feeling" and "Gorgeous" composed with Confidence Man. Also apparent on this album is Yuksek's taste for experimentation and de-structured and ecstatic electronic pieces, especially on his collaborations with Zombie Zombie and Polo & Pan, on "J'aime les Synthés" as well as on "Burning", produced with his companion longtime studio Jean-Sylvain from Juveniles. Then there is love and gentleness as in his collaboration with Breakbot and Irfane as well as on "Universal Love", a sort of low-tempo psychedelic mantra, and a direct affiliation with the first French-touch sound on "The Rollercoaster". Yuksek has been making film music for several years and producing many artists, which has allowed him to refocus his personal project on his essence, his first love, the groove. His fourth album is the perfect demonstration of this, a generous, modern and referenced dance music album, subtle, timeless and unifying, Nosso Ritmo, the rhythm that connects everyone. Also features Henriq Ch.

Dombrance (part of DBFC with David Shaw) presents an Italo/electro track which is part of his surreal political new project. More or less disco, disco or not disco, it's always been difficult to see the boundaries of this movement and all the influences it infused on the electronic scene, Partyfine and Yuksek tried to answer the question and open the genre the wider they can. Also features Leela, Claap & Santana, Alex Rossi, and Adore.

2x12" version. Nous Horizon is Yuksek's great studio album comeback, following his last album, Living On The Edge Of Time (2011). Yuksek's characteristic sound, midway between post-disco, house, and pop, shines through on its various tracks. Even more than on Living On The Edge Of Time, Yuksek shows his talent as a singer. Nous Horizon is an album of mostly duets, invitations to sing together ("Break My Heart", "Sunrise", "Sweet Addiction", "Stay"), featuring Greek singer Monika, French pop bands Her, Juveniles, Kim, and Roman Rappak (Breton). His new melodies are sunnier than before; his beats and production more subtle. Airy, but still conveying a touch of hedonism in its most club-friendly sounds, Nous Horizon is Yuksek's writing of a musical story. At the start of the 2000s, Yuksek released a series of maxis and then two albums: Away From The Sea (2009) and Living On The Edge Of Time. Those records laid the foundations of a sound that uncompromisingly combined pop, disco, and electro. Then in 2013, he set up his own label Partyfine. It is now home to artists such as Clarens, Weekend Affair, Get A Room!, Jean Tonique, Juveniles, TEPR, and Villa. Since the end of his international tour, Yuksek has moved on from live performance and has been working from his studio at the French National Drama Center in Reims. Since 2013, he has collaborated with Chassol, Keren Ann, Yaya Herman Dune, JD Samson, Boston Bun, The Magician (Peter & The Magician), and Alex Metric (The Alexanders), all while continuing to make remixes (Lana Del Rey, Phoenix, M83, Gorillaz, Empire Of The Sun). Yuksek has also devoted a lot of time to writing for cinema, television, and the stage. He composed the philharmonic orchestral music for the original soundtrack of Valérie Donzelli's movie Marguerite et Julien, which was in competition at the 2015 Cannes Festival, and music for a Ingmar Bergman play performed by Sophie Marceau on the Arte TV channel. He also wrote the instrumental arrangements for director Ludovic Lagarde's 2014 adaptation of L'Avare (The Miser) and has composed music for documentaries.

Having drawn comparisons to artists like Kaytranada and Pomo, French producer and multi-instrumentalist Jean Tonique presents You on Yuksek's Partyfine label. Jean Tonique makes an effort to distance himself from genre-defining elements while approaching his music from an organic and raw songwriting perspective. Using elements from hip hop, house, and '70s/'80s funk, the multifaceted producer likes to draw people in with the malleable dynamics of his music. After remixes of tracks by Lana Del Rey, Outkast, The Kooks, and many more, Jean Tonique has broken into the online market and is a regular fixture on Hype Machine's ten "Most Blogged Artists" list. Here, he expands his presence in electronic music with You, delivering the old school, happy vibe of his funky house music. Features appearances from Iris, Jessie Chaton, Gion Arto, and Dirty Radio. CD includes remixes by The Beatangers & Boogie Vice and Young Franco. CD in digipak sleeve; limited edition of 500.
