Unknown is the beginning of a duo with Praymond and Thomas Murphy. It all started by setting up a temporary music studio in an old farm made of stones in the French countryside during the heat wave of summer 2016. Plug in a microphone, start recording a couple of dry leafs crunching and mix it with the sound of ice cubes tingling, add some brushes played on a newspaper, and fingers banging on a kalimba, then add drum machines and analog synths. The result is a classy brand of alternative minimal techno, mixing acoustic rhythms and relentless swing.

Sebastien Casanova's early attraction to jazz and movie scores drove him to enroll at the "Conservatoire de Paris" where he dedicated himself to learning piano. Realizing the rigorous teachings of classical music helped him explore the freedom of jazz improvisation. Percussions, string recordings and the search for sound design are essential parts of his mind set. Concrete sounds and field recordings are inherent qualities that make his music so singular. Cloudy Others is a soundscape reminiscent of Ethiopian records, Mulatu Astake or certain Duke Ellington melodies - a misty atmosphere, in the wait of an endless day.

Feathered Sun, the collaboration between Nu, Jo.Ke, Raz Ohara, Cristopher Schwarzwalder, Iannis Ritter, Acid Pauli and Johannes Laumer, are spearheading a brand of "sound healing music". Side A was primarily crafted in Peru by Cristopher Schwarzwalder and Jo.Ke with Raz Ohara's mesmerizing vocals. The end material was then sent to Nu in Berlin who crafted two tracks out of it. Bulbo shows a willingness to explore different approaches. It is a down-tempo with immaculate instrumentation, dreamy pads and brooding vocals throughout, intertwined with organic sounds and moody atmospheric melodies.

Platon Records presents a three-track release from the prolific French producer Brett Longman, whose creativity and production skills make him one of the most versatile artists working today. He has built an extensive discography and is widely known for his live performances all across Europe, and now, having worked with minimal techno, road movie blues, and melodic songs, he enters a crooner techno genre that he is inventing as he goes.

Praymond is a French artist and long-time record collector. After years of travelling and playing across Europe and America, he decided to release his first EP. This record is not just an elegant DJ tool but it's also a really smart take on how to bring a discrete touch of acoustic in a music usually dominated by analog and digital sounds. "Huguette" uses a lot of acoustic elements to deliver an epic dancefloor track. "Chamalowe" slows the tempo in order to make the pattern heavier. "Timeless Memory" is a tribute to dub techno with an acoustic take.

NU, J.O.K.e, Raz Ohara, Chris Schwarzwaelder, and Iannis Ritter, have recorded as a band called Feathered Sun. All these artists have known each other for years and have been recording on the road or during retreats in Peru. They all may sound familiar, as most of them have been touring the world for the past few years accumulating hits, especially NU, who received recognition after the "Who Loves the Sun" song with J.O.K.e's haunting voice.
