"Anthem alert. 'Neighbourhood' is a stone cold classic from back in 2000 when it was THE anthem on all the London pirates and a massive club hit with the darker garage crew. This limited vinyl promo 12" features two massive refixs. Chimpos' grimey Dubstep mix, and Roska's UK Funky remix. DJ support from Toddla T, Mista Jam, Annie Mac, Kissy Sell Out, Sinden, Jenna G, Marlow."

"UK dance legend Zed Bias returns to head up a distinctly roots infused forth release on his Sidestepper Recordings label. Hooking up with long time friend MC Fox, 'Seeds' twins Zed's bass driven, steppers riddim with catchy retro flavoured toasting. Its simplicity and vocal hook is almost impossible to get out of your head once tasted. On the flipside we find 'Dub Spot Riddim' -- a smoky dubstep burner built specially for Zed's club residency at Dub Spot in Manchester. Its deep sub-sonics and striped down vibe will no doubt please the fans of Digital Mystiks and Loefah while rumbling many a sound system worldwide."

"Following on from Zed Bias' strong selling comeback release The Cauldron found on SDSTPR001, Zed treats us to a new batch of tunes. 'Ambush Riddim' and 'Cosmic Minefield,' having received support from dubstep stalwarts such as N-Type, Benga, Skream, Kode 9, Hatcha, Phil Asher, Mr Scruff, and many more, Zed can truly be considered back to his best, and this release doesn't disappoint. 'Ambush Riddim' sounds like a perfect hybrid of the best of UK garage, grime and dubstep, perfect for the raves and is sure to send MCs into a spitting frenzy. Watch out for future Sidestepper releases, plenty in the pipeline, and pick this up ASAP, they don't hang around for long."

"Zed Bias - a legendary figure in the darker side of UK Garage, and massive influence on the birth of dubstep along with producers like El-B, Noodles, Wookie, Oris Jay and Horsepower Productions -- has more recently concentrated on deep house/funk/rap hybrids. Now, though, there's a massive buzz in the dubstep community and beyond at the news that he's brought back the Sidestepper label on which his most influential stripped-down and bass-heavy productions were released, and is promising releases this and every month. Sidestepper was originally launched by Zed Bias in 1998 to platform his darker, more experimental work alongside his more commercially viable productions on more established labels. This imprint allowed Zed & friends to write, record and release tracks quickly - feeding off and straight back onto the dance floor. 2008 marks both the 10th anniversary of the label and a fresh representation of the skills that have always put Zed at the forefront of UK dance music innovation."
