"Stock5 develops the Ruhrpott. In the beautiful city of Essen near Cologne and Düsseldorf, we found a very interesting pot of freeworking freaks from outer space. One is Ahmet Sisman who now releases his debut EP on our label that hereby definitely finds new paths. Furthermore, we definitely think that it's worth it to release a new limited edition, cause even more the young Turkish producer delivered a whole package of amazing ideas. Yakin Ve Uzak... Near and Far is the first part of four trips through the world of music and brings us to the overwhelming continent Africa. Within this travel, we will meet as well as the Asian continent, Latin America and the Orient. A1 'Buiya': some people do believe in voodoo, some not, but it's not a matter of believing, it's a matter of feeling, seeing and living it. Ahmet lives and feels it as you instantly can hear in the second track of the EP. And so another hypnotic, ecstatic, but very sexy piece of music welcomes the morning. Or can you tell me somebody that doesn't like to dance with angels and demons around the fire while shamans and witches scream out of the forest. B1 'Ruhani': African pupils practice their last dance, the judgment day before their face while pure enthusiasm and raw feelings of being still alive get it in the lead. It's not art. It's their life. Goosebumps all over the dancefloor."

"E-Contact on his own path. Three amazing origins and a monster remix stomper of Parisien producer Seuil lead you again on the darker side of electronic music. Where the A-side blows minds and ears, the B-side will hit all DJs with two high-quality mixing tools. 'Banna' immediately catches the dancefloor with its groovy, slightly acid-like bassline and a constantly uplifting vocal stripe. It is surely the less gloomy track on the EP, but also perfectly fits into the characteristic Stock5 sound. Thunder and lightning dictate the climax of this piece of bass. Seuil interprets 'Banna' to a hardrockin' minimal stomper. He warped thunder and lighting miles away, however they still resonate on the floor. Wind comes up and everybody is walking a little bit faster. But if you listen closely, you can hear some signals from outer space."

With remixes by Leonel Castillo, Seph and Agnes. "Munich's Stock5 developed their own interpretation of minimal techno with a little help from their friends from Argentina and other parts of this world. And the next step is the 'Carbonela EP.' The original from the two friends Lucas Mari and Andres Zacco is a dark clouded classical minimal techno burner with uncoupled thunder and lightning achieving the maximum rate of power through his hypnotic streams. Electro influenced bass hits interrupt the rhythms while giving him his essential flow. This track will make people scream, not only in the earlier hours. Leonell Castillo created a real dancefloor bomb which will be found in record cases such as Richie Hawtin's but also in the collections of DJ's like Chris Liebing. Seph is already a constant part of our label and a guarantee for fresh sounds out of the superstring field of minimal music. His wooden sounds always presents the Latin rhythms in his blood while standing entrenched in the cosmos of modern electronic dance music. Agnes is the only actor on this record living in the northern hemisphere. But as an open minded habitant of glorious Switzerland for sure he can bring up his mind in the right direction to generate the adequate waveforms."

Four track comp featuring: Motion & E-contact, Dario Zenker, Seph, Pheek. "Seph is from Argentina and also a part of a big community which is based in Buenos Aires and especially there this community is one of the most powerful movements. Pheek is an already known artist from his releases on M_nus, Tic Tac Toe, Telegraph, Adjunct and Contexterrior. His track 'Previews' is just leaving the bleepy-cruncky room and is growing to an energetic, bass line monster. Dario Zenker, also known from his release on Num Records yet is minimalizing his own minds with 'New Kids On Weed' and is showing what a real straight bassdrum and some dubbytrubbymuddyslubby noises can do on the floor!"
