Tardis welcome UK tech-house hero Flow for their eighth release. These three tracks were recorded together with Simon Moorecroft (aka Simon Vinyl Junkie) around the time of his first vinyl releases in 1996-1997. All three tracks sound completely contemporary whilst having more than enough old-school flavor to give flashbacks to any '90s ravers. "Boy Girl Action" has skipping, garage-influenced beats with rolling bass and swirling atmospherics, whilst a breakbeat, vocals and a stabby intro give "Trine" on the flip a rave feel. "I See You" is the dubbiest cut here, with another heavy bassline, cut-up vocals, and subtly swung percussion.

Following Closer To Freedom (TAR 004EP, 2014), Chicago legend DJ Jes returns to Tardis Records with the Between The Lines EP, featuring two lost tracks from his personal archives and a brand new offering. "No Fooling" is reduced to the bare essentials until an elegant snatch of piano and spoken word sample break it down further. "Between The Lines" is tougher and dubbier, and will do some serious peak-time damage, whilst the new track "Lost" is a cut-up banger for the floor and a perfect DJ tool. All tracks edited and rearranged by label owners Eli Verveine and Oscar Schubaq.

Tardis Records label owners Eli Verveine and Oscar Schubaq present two tracks from the personal archives of Peter Kremeier, aka Losoul, a man who has been rocking dancefloors and enchanting listeners with his abstract and tripped-out take on minimal house for two decades. "Soda Island" hangs cut-up vocal stabs over the last word in bone-dry, bass-heavy grooves. "Sparkling Please" starts out cheerfully but then subtly mutates into spooked insectoid psychedelia anchored by crisp percussion and bass. Drop either of these cuts at the right moment and watch the dancers lose their minds. Mastered and cut by Stefan Betke.

Quintessential Swedish techno veteran Jesper Dahlbäck has arguably had his finest club moments under his The Persuader moniker. An ode to the floral beauty of his Nordic homeland, the three cuts on Vårblommor tread his hypnotic path between techno and house, with a unique, subtle quirkiness and authentic grit. "Vitsippa" is a dancefloor healer with an irresistible drive and intermittent crackly vocals. "Blåklocka" is more laid-back, recalling the early Persuader production for Svek with a deep sub-bass, ambient textures, and fluttering melodies fused into a deep, majestic groove. "Snödroppar" blends vivacious synths with delayed patterns, awash in a kind of sentimental lucidity.

Tardis Records' Eli Verveine and Oscar Schubaq have asked DJ Jes from Chicago to perform his West Coast-inflected house magic. The fourth release on the Zurich/Berlin-based label embodies a unique style all Jes' own: there's that mesmerizing, dubby and tribalistic disposition, chromatic and slightly outside the box. Propelled by whipping drums and twisted moods, "Closer to Freedom" proves to be an irresistible and cleverly-conceived shaker. "Echoes" delves into acoustic space-time and dribbles by way of percussive straightforwardness. Lastly, "Difficult" is a metallically-clad and sharply hissing bass monster, briefly steering into a safe haven of jazzy chords.

Tardis strikes back, straight out of their intricate space-time-continuum: Here, label co-honcho Oscar Schubaq delivers a tour de force of the first order. On his first solo EP, Schubaq betrays his respectful mastery of the classic tropes of house and techno. The main cut "Take It" is direct and to the point, pushing onward and onward with a graceful relentlessness. Ethereal dub textures and curious string harmonies mingle with vocal harmonics. "Exposition" is straightforward, contemporary house that honors its roots. The EP finishes with "Triade," a dark ambient journey based on the core of extreme time-streched vocal drones and organic scapes.

For their second release, Tardis has enlisted Paul Mac aka Jorge Zamacona, who hoists in three rough house killers. Te veteran producer portrays dazzling acumen: bursting with the sheer power of clever drum programming, "Cut Twice" is an offering that will make people lose their heads on dancefloors. Jagged, massive, irresistible."The Mood" ventures into deep, silky house territories, while "Stacked Team" delivers another burning cut of dancefloor euphoria. This EP is still firmly embedded in the now: Paul Mac produced all tracks in 2013.
