After a long break, Tbilisi-based label Transfigured Time is back with their sixth release. This time with Berlin-based producer and DJ Cocktail Party Effect, who previously had releases on Pinch's Cold Recordings and Headcount Records. With Death Of An Algorithm, Eric Baldwin brings experimental and rhythmical tracks with dance floor character. Six tracks are a perfect mix of IDM, dubstep, techno, experimental and ambient music. Following Bakradze's Before Time Altered Them (TT 003EP, 2015), Transfigured Time returns with their fourth release, yet again from a Georgian artist Nika Machaidze, aka Nikakoi aka Erast. Tbilisi based musician who started his career in late 1990s/early 2000s. Nika is a member of electronic art group Goslab alongside Tusia Beridze, Gogi Dzodzuashvili and others. This EP features tracks by Transfigured Time cofounder Bakradze aka Gacha, known for his releases on Apollo Records; Akwaaba, making his second appearance on the label; Prequel, from Melbourne, Australia, who debuted on Bradley Zero's Rhythm Section International in 2014; Jordan Blacksmith, an electronic side project of Georgian producer David Datunashvili; General Ludd, the duo of Rich McMaster from New Jersey and Tom Marshall from Canterbury, known for releases on Mister Saturday Night; and Tenderlonious, owner of the influential London-based 22a label. Tenderlonious's improvised, dusty house productions have caught the attention of tastemakers Gilles Peterson, Osunlade, Lefto, and Alexander Nut.
