"As house continues to take its stronghold over techno, even in Berlin the epicentre of all things minimal, we gear up for a summer of 'actual' dancing over regimented arm pumping and head nodding. Having impressed Laurent Garnier, M.A.N.DY, Solumun, Karotte, TG (Tim Green) and Ellen Alien last year with his collaboration with Enzo Elia, Martin PatiƱo caught the attention of True to Form with his fresh, playful approach to house and techno and hypnotic percussive elements. Born in Italy, but with South American roots and now living in Berlin, you can hear vibrant audio recollections seeping onto every groove. Citing Dali's surrealist paintings as another creative reference (a nod to which is contained in the track title 'The Tempation'), you could say Martin draws on the atypical compared to your average electronic producer. The result is the blissful simplicity of 'Sundays' on the A side; percussive, sundrenched and a perfect AM terrace lifter. On the flip side is peak time tech house groover, 'The Temptation,' and a hypnotic, dub heavy remix of Black Dahlia (the original of which will appear on the digital only release) produced with long term cohort Enzo Elia."

"Praia Brava is Gavin Herlihy's second solo single since his debut Machine Ate My Homework. A shimmering slice of melodic tech house, the track started life in Gavin's imagination after a night playing Brazil's revered Warung club, the tropical Balinese style long house club that's fast earned a reputation as one of the world's best parties and a home from home for DJs like Sven Vath or Luciano. Praia Brava is the stretch of beach on which the club is perched and the emotive melodies of the track were designed as an accompaniment to the amazing sunrises that bathe the open ended dancefloor of Warung in early morning, goosebump inducing sunshine. It's already been tipped to be a club hit by Anja Schneider and is ably assisted by a remix from Jesse Rose. The Berlin expat took a break from recording his debut album to turn in a dubbier, stripped down version of the track designed for those late night bass friendly dancefloor work outs."

With Claude VonStroke remix. "The third release on True To Form Recordings comes from Parisian producer Mikael Weill, known for his productions on Karat Records and amazing live shows alongside Ark. 2007 looks set to be his year. Together with his friends at Circus Company and Karat, Mikael is part of a new French movement giving genres like minimal, electro and house a good kick in the ass and an injection of much needed funk and humor. Here Mikael starts off with the title track 'Silmarions,' which glitches and grooves with a warm kick, plenty of inviting keys and stabs programmed into the mix. In steps one Barclay Crenshaw, aka Claude VonStroke, for 'Silmarions - Claude VonStroke Bavarian Ferrari Mix,' with an added absolutely twisted vocal. Finishing up, Mikael's 'French Duck' takes down the highs and hits in with low-end deepness. Proper electronic music melts in with a futurist deep house vibe."
