Remixes by Matthew Herbert & Doctor L. "Zenzile, one of the French pioneers of dub music and undoubtedly one of the most famous, have put aside their instruments for a while to go and explore more electronic lands under the name Zenzile Sound System. Starting the EP with a totally unreleased track 'Real Rock,' they take us on a journey where hip-hop flirts with dub rhythms and rock guitars. As for 'Basstone' -- largely influenced by German minimal techno -- it will seduce as much deep house fans as Maurizio-style minimal tek enthusiasts. Side B offers two remixes of the track 'Mille Francs Mille Francs' from their album Meta Meta. First one by restlessly innovating English electro DJ Matthew Herbert who needs no introduction when it comes to electro-organic music and remixing skills. Second one by Doctor L, one of the most famous French hip-hop producers (Assassin, Tony Allen...) and remixer (Neneh Cherry, Salif Keita?), known for his eclectic tastes and his love for musical crossovers."

"The Hacker is one of today's most talented and innovative artists of electronic music. He created some fun '80s electro-pop with his friend Miss Kittin. DJ Hell loved their productions and signed them on his label Gigolo in '97. With the beginning of Electroclash in 2001 they became hype all over the world! Parties everywhere, talked about by Karl Lagerfeld and Elton John amongst others, The Hacker is one of the most sought-after producers, remixing for Mark Almond (Soft Cell), Fisherspooner, Air and Nitzer Ebb. This is a groovy electro techno sound, featuring tracks from Mount Sims, Ellen Allien, Front 242, Juan Atkins, Sleeparchive, The Hacker..."

Domestic US version, licensed from PIAS. "You may have heard Vitalic's 'La Rock 01': a grinding, lurching behemoth of a track, which has appeared on mix CDs compiled by everyone from 2manyDJs to Princess Superstar. This track and the mythical 'Poney' became instant party anthems. As an amazing producer, Vitalic also remixed tracks by Bjork, Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx and more. After three years, Vitalic releases his debut album OK Cowboy. To those who love his music and his unique sound, he's the pleasure provider: the ultimate rush, the greatest high, the invincible metal disco warrior. The tens of thousands gleefully seduced by him have waited patiently for OK Cowboy. To says it's a major record for electronic music would be an understatement."
