2024 repress. Adana Twins return to Watergate Records with a magnificent three-tracker that begs for a summer dancefloor (but the tracks are that good, they'll be played for a while to come). Since their label debut in 2017 with Flower of Cane, Adana Twins have become firm favorites of the Oberbaumbrücke crew. From handling mix duties on Watergate 25 to holding down regular gigs at the club prior to 2020, the Hamburg duo always deliver. The Curve is their first release on WG since 2019's cracking remixes of Josh Wink's Higher State of Consciousness. The title track is a big bouncy electro cut packed with plenty of groove. A super fun production sure to bring a smile to your face. "Cyrus" belongs in a motion picture and is epic in composition. It traverses cyborg breaks before moving into a retro keyladen riff, all the while driven by a powerful "Silence/Violence" vocal. This was made for a big festival moment. "Alone" is the emotional final. At first propelled by an '80s synth and airy pads before a shimmering lead takes control and pushes the track into celestial terrain.

Adana Twins return to Diynamic with a thunderous four-track EP titled 1983, an homage to the sound of the first year Benjamin and Friso spent on Earth. It starts off with "Clocks", an eerie dark wave, almost post punk-ish track that features the vocals of fellow Hamburg act Kraków Loves Adana and sets you right into the '80s. Title track "1983" touches back on the EBM sound of the era, with energetic sequenced basslines and a retro synths and sounds, giving you an authentic feel of that time. "Neonlicht" is the second feature with Kraków Loves Adana -- a slow and hypnotic groove, complete with 808 drums and orchestra hits. And closing off the record is "Mauro Picasso", a feature with Phunkadelica that ushers in the Italo disco era. Robotic vocals and dreamy synths transport you right to the beach clubs of Rimini. All in all, an incredibly versatile record that demonstrates the talents of the Adana Twins at its best.

From laidback house vibes to soaring techno, the sixth installment of the Picture series covers the artists' full spectrum.
Diynamic's Picture: series is a document in time, showcasing an artist's current creative output in order to allow the listener to visualize and understand the artist at a certain moment. It is not an album format, but far more than merely an EP. Picture: is various dancefloor-oriented facets of one producer, shaping the imagery that ultimately results in the listeners mind.

Hamburg's Adana Twins have made short work between their time joining the Watergate camp to jumping into the spotlight helming the latest Watergate Mix. The duo step up to deliver a thrilling and complex trek into the dramatic, emotionally-charged fields with their distinct brand of techno making it abundantly clear the two have a voice that needs to be heard. Over the course of sixteen tracks, Adana Twins weave a vivid musical tale having acquired an assortment of exclusive unreleased material from their crew of like-minded and extremely talented friends like Acid Pauli, SBTH, Upercent, Lehar, Daniel Bortz & Sascha Sibler, Aaaron, André Hommen, and Musumeci, among others. Besides their friends, Adana Twins contribute three originals to the mix including an absolute monster remix of Patrice Bäumel's decade-old track "Roar", which has already received huge praise and tons of plays from heavyweights like Tale Of Us and Solomun, garnering massive reactions every time it's played. Not only is the mix a stellar display of the duo's mixing and storytelling prowess, but all tracks from the mix, minus Adana Twins's "Pavan" (which will see its release on their own imprint TAU), are exclusive to Watergate and will be released as separate EPs following the mix release. Watergate is beyond hyped to add Adana Twins to the list of artists who have contributed to our mix series and is sure that this will be a seminal cornerstone in their ever-ascending trajectory on their journey henceforth. Enjoy! Also features: Kadosh & Yost Koen, Kintar & Bog, Stereocalypse, and Human Machine.

Adana Twins deliver two stunning tracks of beautifully crafted cosmic journeys into the "headier" sonic spaces, perfectly balancing powerful grooves and euphoric melodies. "Jupiter" kicks off with relentlessly pulsing low end that carries lush harmonies and breathtaking shimmers of synthesis to a stunning crescendo leaving an indelible experience not soon forgotten. "Sequence 01" was already tapped by Tale Of Us in their Fabric mix.

Watergate Records welcome back two of Hamburg's finest, Adana Twins, last seen on the label's latest various artists compilation (WG 037EP). "Flower Of Cane" kicks things off in an almost sinister fashion with massive low-end bursts and a fever inducing, single note that never stops rising, culminating in a climactic crescendo of dancefloor euphoria. "Ortus" takes a much more "up-beat" approach with dreamy arpeggios and shimmering atmospherics laid over a pulsing bassline. Sultry vocals and lush aural artifacts launch sensations to uncharted new heights on "Relentless" which features Jeppe Kjellberg. Andre Lodemann creates his revision of "Relentless".
