SUBALT 014EP
|
Making his debut on Subaltern with a psychotropic journey into the weald is Estonian producer Bisweed. On "Shelter", dark synths lead into weighty bass-lines, embedded in driving percussive elements and a spine-chilling atmosphere. "Swamp" goes deeper, as haunting textures guide the listener into a pulsating implosion of low frequencies bound to shake up the dancefloor as well as your expectations. "Dolmen", featuring Mentha, lightens the mood -- but only ever so slightly. Chanting voices hail the listener, as wide planes of sound unfold into a bass-heavy yet deep stepper.
